Dive Gurus provided an exceptional dive experience in La Paz. Laura and Alli were particularly helpful in and out of the water.

Such a professional, lovely team and hands on heart the best diving spots I’ve visited. Loved the dives with the sea lions, and the ship wreck with the turtles was out of this world. Excellent equipments, great communications and the OW course my sister completed run at incredibly high standards. Fernanda was an absolutely brilliant dive master who went out of her way to make the dives exceptional and tailored to the team she was diving with. Also huge shout out to the team who provided the food for us: the ceviche was just amazing! I can’t recommend Dive Gurus highly enough to anyone who is coming to La Paz!

Professional establishment with top-notch gear and attentive instructor and staff. We did the e-learning portion prior to arriving and had 2 days of in-person water training. We had one instructor and one divemaster in training for 2 of us taking the Rescue Course. The first day of training took place on the beach with content refresh on land and in-water scenario practice. The 2nd day was a boat trip to continue practicing and mastering skills with scenarios in a different environment. Lunch was great and every member from office to divemasters, instructors, captain were friendly and helpful.

Carlos the instructor did a great job, ensuring that I truly understood the material, not just giving an easy pass. The open water dives were in amazing places, laden with sea lions and a variety of fish. Our final training dive was in a school of fish on a reef. I ll

Dove with dive gurus for 3 consecutive days in end of september. Impeccable on all fronts. Excellent apeks gear, nitrox for everyone, thorough safety and dive briefings, tasty lunch, and a boat that is larger than your usual panga making for a more comfortable ride. Diving the sea of Cortez is amazing in itself , and doing it with a dive center where most DMs are marine biologists, and are involved and research and conservation projects locally makes it top notch. Might not be the cheapest dive shop, but worth every penny. Thank you to all the great team.
