This was a fantastic trip and so much more exciting than I even thought it would be. The planning of the trip was handled all by Tricia and she did a fantastic job of keeping everything on track, while still being flexible with new decisions. She seems as excited about our adventure as we are and it's like traveling with a friend but she's doing all the work. Overall this was absolutely a beautiful place to visit and a wonderfully orchestrated trip!

After an incredible journey through Vietnam and Cambodia, spending a few extra days in Hoi An was a great way to end the adventure. Hoi An offered a different pace from the rest of the trip. The town is lively and tourist-friendly, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and activities to choose from. There was no shortage of things to do and enjoy. We stayed at the Wyndham Beach Resort, and it was an excellent choice. The accommodations were comfortable, the property was beautiful, and being so close to the beach made it easy to relax after a busy itinerary. The beachfront restaurant was particularly enjoyable. The food continued to impress us throughout our stay. Between the restaurants in town and the resort dining options, we ate very well. What I appreciated most about Hoi An was the flexibility it offered. Whether you wanted to shop, explore, enjoy the beach, book a massage, take a class, or relax, there were plenty of options. After a busy and memorable journey through Vietnam and Cambodia, having a few days at a slower pace before heading home was exactly what was needed. For me, Hoi An was the perfect way to end an unforgettable adventure.

I recently returned from Alt-Esc Travel’s Amazing Asian Adventure, and I can honestly say it exceeded every expectation I had. This was my first group trip, my first fully planned tour, and my first experience traveling with Alt-Esc Travel. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I loved every minute of it and will absolutely travel with them again. Vietnam and Cambodia were both incredible in very different ways. I did not participate in the pre-trip to Ho Chi Minh City, which ended up being my biggest regret of the entire adventure. My journey began in Hanoi, which was a wonderful introduction to Vietnam. Our hotel was fantastic, and the breakfast buffet alone was something to look forward to every morning. Halong Bay was beyond beautiful. The boat was amazing, the scenery was breathtaking, and I could easily have spent more time there simply relaxing and taking it all in. Cambodia was equally unforgettable. Our guide was exceptional, knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about sharing the history and culture of his country. Learning about Cambodia’s history was both moving and eye-opening. Beyond the incredible sights and experiences, what struck me most throughout both countries was the spirit of the people. Given the history of both countries, I expected resilience. What surprised me was the lightness of spirit we encountered everywhere we went. It left a lasting impression on me. The food deserves special mention as well. The cuisine in both Vietnam and Cambodia was outstanding, and every meal felt like an experience in itself. If I had to choose a favorite part of the trip, the food would be near the top of the list. The trip concluded in Hoi An (the post-trip add-on), which deserves a review of its own. A special thank you to Tricia and Alt-Esc Travel. Tricia somehow managed to be both a friend traveling alongside us and a professional host handling every detail behind the scenes. Everything was organized, seamless, and stress-free. One of the greatest joys of this trip was being able to fully enjoy the experience without worrying about planning, transportation, or logistics. One of the unexpected highlights of the trip was getting to know such an interesting and diverse group of travelers. If you're considering a group trip but feel hesitant, I completely understand because I felt the same way. Now I'm completely sold. This trip was unforgettable, and I cannot recommend Alt-Esc Travel highly enough.

A most wonderful trip! Well organized a great group of folks who had fun and supported each other! Our guides were knowledgeable and helpful. The scenery was breathtaking besides historical interesting. My hat is off to Tricia our great leader who supported us and always had our best interests in mind.
