Thank you so much again for making this coaching experience possible. Living in Nepal, where there are no equestrian trainers available, this was a unique opportunity for me to get some feedback on my work with my horse, and I learned a lot in the four week programme. I will continue to build on this and improve my posture and energy cues to create clearer communication with my horse.
One area of possible improvement that I was thinking about was the timing of the coaching experience: I understand why it is easier for you to set aside a limited period for this programme, but from a learner's point of view, it might have been more effective to have more flexibility in the time between video sessions: Sometimes it took more than a few days to digest the feedback and to experiment a bit with it, but in some occasions, it would have been better to send in another video immediately, rather than be limited to 2 a week. Maybe in a future programme you might consider allowing a specified number of videos in total, with a maximum period to "use" them? - Clearly, there would have to be an understanding that feedback cannot always be as prompt as it was in the current format.
Another area for potential improvement might be to have more chance of direct interaction: Having done both the signature coaching and the one to one coaching, I realised that the group interactions in the SC programme were actually very supportive and made the experience more enjoyable. An opportunity to have direct dialogue would also have prevented some misunderstandings that limited the effectiveness of your advice. - In a couple of instances I felt that you were making assumptions about me and my horse, or what I think about my horse, which I would have found easier to respond to directly rather than in writing. - I also found one instance of feedback a bit unhelpful, where you kept saying "I don't know how to explain this better" (talking about how my body language needs to change), as if changing posture and energy were something that happens instantly once the theory is understood...
These are just suggestions, I think your online coaching offer is really great, and I would definitely recommend it to others.
The one big thing I learned about me and my horse was that "pressure - release", and especially escalating pressure to get the correct response, is not really the best way forward for us, so for the next few weeks or months, I will work on improving my body language while using R+ more systematically.
Thank you again for all your advice and for offering this opportunity!
