This retreat was absolutely not what I was expecting. It was not luxurious or relaxing. It was straight up HARD. And it was transformative and beautiful and powerful, and grounding, and soul-finding and healing. This pilgrimage challenged me physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. It introduced me to the beautiful cultures of Mayan and Rastafari. It opened me up to countless new perspectives, ways of thinking, ways of being. It offered me beautiful connections with nature and all of the earth’s elements. It connected me with humans that will be in my life forever, that I consider my family. The way Maharri, Roots, and Firstman were able to offer a balanced, energetic, passionate, comforting, nurturing experience for all of us is incredibly special. I will certainly be traveling with this beautiful group of humans again.

It was beyond my expectations. I thoroughly enjoyed the retreat and would gladly go again as well as recommend it! I started the journey as I different person than when it ended. This is exactly what I wanted and needed and I received it! The staff, the instructors, the folks in the village, the falicitors, the village itself, the workshops, the events, the food, and just everything about it was truly an experience I'll never forget! My first sojourn with them in Jamaica was so extraordinarily transformative that I traveled with them once again, this time to Lake Atitlan, Guatemala. This plant medicine retreat was lead with the purest love and intention, and executed with the highest level of wisdom and professionalism.
