My stay at La Maison was so amazing, the accommodations are beautiful and have a very calming atmosphere. The other guests were lovely and we all ate breakfast in the mornings together which was prepared by Angeli and Cindhy, who are wonderful! The surf experience was great, I was put in contact with a surf school on the beach and they helped me get the board I wanted and are all super friendly and accommodating. Overall, Mancora is a super chill beach town vibe with lots to do including surfing, kite surfing, amazing cafes, great food, cute shopping, and a fun social scene. Would 1000% recommend booking an Algae surf experience at La Maison!!

We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed our time here. Everything was well taken care of, allowing us to completely relax and unwind for the week. The hospitality was exceptional, and the staff made us feel welcome throughout our stay. I stayed at Algae Surf Camp for 2,5 weeks in Jan 26 as a solo traveler and booked the surf package. The place is amazing! Super nice and friendly staff, extremely clean and pretty calm because it is not on the main road. I stayed in two different rooms: Tamarindo and Coco and especially Coco was super nice. The breakfast gets served by the amazing team every morning with a smile. Tanja, who manages "La Maison" is a very welcoming person who bakes fantastic cakes and gives you a warm welcome from day one. Axel is a passionate surfer, who is always open to give you some advice around the surf. The surf classes are organized by Pilars surf school with experienced instructors. I went mostly with Marxell and can highly recommend him for his calm attitude and fokus. The surf spot in Mancora is 5 min walk away from the hotel and very consistent. There are lots of options for food and shopping around as well. If you have the chance and want to feel at home, go for Algae Surf Camp. See u next time, Nadine
