I would attend another trip hosted by Worldwide Dance Adventures in a heartbeat. I already recommended this or a similar trip to a friend planning an anniversary trip. This was a great experience even as a single follower. We swapped partners during the classes and at social dance events. I had 2 years of ballroom dance experience before attending, along with some latin social dancing, and felt adequately prepared. The hosts, Ari and Christine, are enigmatic, charming, and incredibly welcoming people. One can tell they have found their calling in teaching dance around the world. They are both incredible dancers, giving very personalized instruction and constructive feedback during lessons. So much intention to community building and integrating with the local dance community made this trip truly unique. They brought the group to social nights ranging from swing and latin, to folk and fusion. These were places and small dance communities that I would not have found on my own (or even known to look for). This is priceless knowledge for when I return to Vienna, and was also a great opportunity to form friendships with locals. I also appreciated the focus on connection and partnership in social dancing through the waltz week workshops, as opposed to strict formulas and rules of ballroom. I made connections that will last beyond Waltz Week. This trip attracted a very interesting, varied, and gracious group. Dancing with the other attendees, and building friendships, was immensely valuable. Now I have social dance connections across the US and in Europe, a perfect excuse for more travel.

This is such a great trip. My second time attending and was lovely. Being in Vienna, such a gorgeous city, only adds to the fun. Excetionally well planned and organized, with a lot of sight seeing and group activities, along with a lot of free time to explore by ourselves. And to cap it all off, attendance at Balls at the most beautitful palaces in Europe!
