Harrison Hot springs is a lovely venue for a weekend of excellent dancing and dance classes. Ari and his team bring experience, a wide scope of dances, all taught with obvious joy and humor. There is enough down time to enjoy and explore the beauty of the area. The classes cover enough for the beginner to be able to dance at the evening's dance socials and for the more experienced dancer to learn some nuance or expand there strong dance base. This is an event I look forward to attending again.

Relaxing in the hot springs after a long day on one's feet dancing is the perfect remedy to get up the next morning and do it again. Ari and Sharon exude their joy for dance and I came away with new understandings that I will carry into my own dance community and into my dance journey. Bravura all.

I most enjoyed meeting the other compadres, particularly my two roomies Peter and Ari. Jae and I had fun too, as well as many others. Additional highlights include, foremost, the social dancing (yay). Lounging in the hot pools was delicious. Having everything right there and not having to worry about a thing was fabulous. Michael's yoga was fabulous. The formal dinner was quite exquisite. The setting (Harrison) was exquisite. Spending the entire weekend together as a single cohort was just the way I like it. Least favorites: the house band was not fabulous (I so much prefer Ari's playlist). The workshops were good but didn't resonate so much with me (not because of the instructors, who did a wonderful job, but hey you just can't please everybody, right?). The dance floor was too small when we were all on it. Overall, I felt embraced, I hope you will have me as a male lead again! Thank you very much for comp'ing me. - Philip Conover

It was great that one could customize how much of the dance weekend they wanted to participate in! That allowed me to sign up for just the daytime workshops which was greatly appreciated. I liked that there was frequent rotation of partners. I learned a lot in the workshops and hope I can continue to incorporate what I learned going forward. I enjoyed meeting lots of new people and seeing a few folks I knew from before.

Thoroughly enjoyed myself and learned a lot. Beautiful setting, great group of people, and once my room was changed, it was a wonderful place to stay. I would have liked to have had more opportunities to just dance throughout the weekend. The classes were really good, but dancing was only on Friday night and limited on Saturday night due to dinner being served at the same time. I would have loved it if dinner were arranged at an earlier time. Thanks to the organizers and instructors for this opportunity!
