It was wonderful, and the food was delicious. I would advise asking them to bring more coffee in the mornings for the group of people, but they usually accommodated when we asked. The scenery was beautiful and the yoga room was lovely. We also enjoyed the tour of the property, harvesting from the garden and the cooking class! The extra massages and radionic therapy with the owner of the property were amazing.

This was the first yoga retreat for both me, and my sister. Our six day stay at Mar de Jade was magical! The food was amazing, the people were warm and welcoming, and the ocean view was pure heaven. It was everything we wished it would be: a charming place to unwind, freedom to relax, and two daily yoga classes (if you wish). But the yoga was amazing. The instructors, Melody, Darcy, and Kate were super nice and supportive, and my sister and I learned a lot about yoga. (Who knew I could do a baby grasshopper!) It was nice to have different instructors with different perspectives, with so many helpful tips. Melody was an amazing host and I’m so happy I chose this retreat!

This was my first time traveling to a Yoga retreat. It was a fantastic experience and I would do another one. The whole trip was very organized and the classes were for everyone. I am not experienced in yoga, but never felt that I couldn’t take part. Everyone on the trip was supportive and friendly. I will stay in touch with them from now on, as friendships were made during this time away. The only negative thing, however it was out of our control, was the power and A/C issues at the resort. It would usually happen during the night and you would wake up hot realizing the power was off. I hope they fix the issue, because otherwise it was a great place. All the food was so fresh and tasty, my massage at the Spa (Robert) was amazing, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to be able to travel again with Melody.
