Advent is a time of waiting -- for the historical birth of Jesus, for the signs of Christ's presence in our midst today, and for the final reunion of all creation in the completion of God's kingdom. In this retreat, we'll examine the different ways creation waits and explore how we can approach Advent as a time and place of hopeful waiting.
The retreat begins with check-in at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday and a community Taizé service at 4pm. We will continue into the week with Advent meditation around the theme “All Creation Waits” and end with lunch on Friday. This retreat is led by Sue DiMaggio and Fr. Bob Menard, O.F.M..
