As we shall start in Madrid on this departure there are changes in the route as follows.
Apr 22.
Early arrivals have likely stored their luggage at Barajas airport (12 Euros for the day) and taken the direct train from Terminal 4 to Recoletos and a 15 min walk to the Prado museum.
Gunnar arrives at 5 PM. Meeting at Hertz rental car on airport from 5:30 pm.
We drive to Toledo for an overnight stay.
April 23. Drive to Andujar mountains where we shall search for Iberian Lynx. We stay overnight for 5 nights in nearby Ubeda. It shall be nice to have the same base over the week.
April 24. All day in Andujar mountain
April 25. Morning in Undujar and then mostly a cultural day with mid-morning visiting Cordoba, and from after lunch a visit to the Alhambra above Granada. Night in Ubeda.
April 26. Sierra Magina
April 27. Cazorla
April 28. Final search for Lynx in morning then drive to Madrid. Possible to catch flights out of Madrid from 5.30PM. If not by next day.
