Great birding with Nicole. We started very early and saw lots of birds. Nicoles english is very good and she knows the areas we visited very well.

This was an excellent tour. Miguel did a great job finding and identifying birds. There were four different environments with different birds. We added several new species. We really enjoyed the tour.

We had a great trip with more than 480 bird species seen during the 16 days, comfortable accommodation and vehicles as well as good company.

Miguel our guide did a great job locating and identifying several endemics that were new to us. We added over a dozen birds to our life list. Sonia our driver did a good job keeping us on the curvy and narrow road.
If you go on this trip you should know it's a long day and could be a challenge for those with a fear of heights. You don't stay on the the Canyon floor, you drive up the sides of it.

We had a great time birding with Gunnar! High elevation birding is fascinating and challenging at the same time, but I still got 35 lifers, and this was my third trip to Peru. The food provided was good, the transportation was comfortable (as much as is possible on bumpy gravel roads!), and we spent all the time we could in the field. I would recommend this trip for any serious birder!
