DAY 1

DAY 1 image

AKWAABA, WELCOME TO GHANA!!

The first day is about decompression. People don’t arrive whole; they arrive fragmented.

You are received with a calm welcome—cool towels infused with local herbs, coconut water, and a brief orientation that sets intention without ceremony overload. After check-in and rest, the group gathers for a light grounding session: breathwork, stretching, and a simple explanation of Ghana’s cultural landscape so people understand where they are standing—ethnically, historically, energetically.

The evening closes with a welcome dinner featuring modern Ghanaian cuisine, live acoustic music or drums at a listening level (no sensory assault), and storytelling—how people live, love, and build here now. Early night encouraged. The body needs permission to land.

This is more than a welcome
Raise a glass, celebrate new beginnings, and say it proudly: “Akwaaba!”

Welcome to Ghana.

DAY 2

DAY 2 image

ANCESTRY, MEMORY, and MEANING

This is the emotional spine of the retreat.

After breakfast, the group travels to a historical site—Cape Coast or Elmina Castle if the group is ready for depth, or Assin Manso if the focus is ancestral remembrance without confinement trauma. The framing matters: this is not spectacle or guilt tourism. It is witnessing.

Lunch happens in a quiet coastal space. Afterward, a facilitated dialogue helps guests process what surfaced—identity, grief, pride, confusion, resilience. No forced sharing. Presence is enough.

In the late afternoon, the mood shifts gently: a walk along the beach, ocean meditation, or foot-in-the-water ritual symbolizing release and continuity.

Dinner is seaside. The night ends with laughter, firelight, and music—because joy is also ancestral.

Attire recommendation: White

DAY 3

DAY 3 image

RENEWAL, BEAUTY, and FORWARD MOTION

The final day is about integration. What do you carry forward?

Morning begins with yoga, stretching, or a guided nature walk. Then a spa or wellness experience rooted in African practices—shea treatments, steam, herbal baths, or massage. The message is clear: the body is not an afterthought to history.

After brunch, guests explore a curated lifestyle experience: This anchors Ghana as present and future-facing, not frozen in the past.

The retreat closes with a circle—guests name one insight they’re taking home and one action they’ll commit to. No grand promises. Just clarity.

Departure support is smooth, calm, and organized. The nervous system should leave steadier than it arrived.
