Q: I don’t know my exact African lineage or tribe. Can I still join?
Yes. This journey is about reclaiming your broader heritage, not just tracing genealogy. You don’t need to know your exact lineage to experience the power of return. Egypt is one of the great ancestral homelands of Black civilization — all are welcome to remember, reflect, and reignite.
Q: Is this trip only for African American or Black travelers?
No. While this journey is designed with cultural reconnection and ancestral themes that honor Africa’s global legacy, this trip is open to all respectful travelers. Everyone is welcome — this is a space for learning, healing, and celebration.

We choose trusted hotels, well-lit public routes, and secure group-friendly environments.

Q: Is this a physically intense trip?
Yes, this is an active overland trip. You’ll visit multiple cities and historic sites across Egypt with daily walking, van travel, boat rides, and temple climbs. While most activities are manageable for the average traveler, good mobility, comfortable shoes, and a readiness for movement are essential. We recommend arriving well-rested and staying hydrated.
Q: I’ve heard about “hustle culture” in Egypt — will I be pressured to buy things?
Egypt is known for its vibrant markets and assertive vendors, especially in tourist-heavy areas. While this can be overwhelming for some, we prepare you in advance, set clear boundaries, and travel with guides who buffer unwanted interactions.
You’ll also visit curated locations (like authentic perfumeries and local artisans) where you can shop freely without pressure. This trip is designed for cultural immersion, not consumer overwhelm — so we’ve created a flow that balances both.

Origins of Civilization
Today we journey back to the very blueprint of Black civilization.
Begin your sacred return in Memphis, the first capital of Ancient Kemet — a city that predates Greece, Rome, and the Western world as we know it. For African Americans, this isn’t just history — it’s origin. Walk the same ground where Black kings first ruled, and stand before the colossal statue of Ramses II, whose legacy lives in both spiritual law and ancestral power.
Next, we explore Saqqara, the royal necropolis of the Old Kingdom and home to the Step Pyramid of Djoser — the world’s first stone monument and prototype for every pyramid that followed. Here, we don’t just admire architecture; we reclaim it. Inside the Tomb of Mereruka, you’ll witness carvings that show Black excellence in medicine, dance, agriculture, governance, and spirituality — long before colonial erasure.
Then we continue to Dahshur, where you’ll see the early engineering feats of the Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid, evidence that ancient innovation began with us. These sacred sites, often skipped by mainstream tours, offer a more intimate encounter with the genius of early Africa — untouched, unfiltered, and ours.
We close the day with a sunset Felucca sail on the Nile — a soft, sacred ritual of remembrance, honoring those who crossed oceans so we could one day return.
🛏️ Overnight: Cairo
🎟️ Highlights: Memphis, Saqqara (Step Pyramid, Tomb of Mereruka), Dahshur (Bent & Red Pyramids), Sunset Sail on the Nile
Today, you’ll stand face to face with one of the greatest marvels on Earth — the Great Pyramid of Giza, the only remaining Wonder of the Ancient World. Towering above the desert, this sacred site is more than architecture; it is a mathematical monument to the genius of ancient African civilization.
Walk in the footsteps of builders, priests, and pharaohs as we explore the Giza Plateau — home to the Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, and guarded by the mighty Sphinx, whose gaze has spanned millennia.
Next, journey into the brand-new Grand Egyptian Museum, a stunning architectural feat that houses thousands of never-before-seen artifacts, including treasures of King Tutankhamun and relics from the oldest dynasties of Kemet.
Enjoy a curated lunch offering breathtaking views over the sacred sands.
Optional experiences include:
Inside the Great Pyramid upgrade (for those ready to descend into its chambers)
Sunset editorial photoshoot (optional add-on)
Return to the hotel glowing with awe, anchored in the knowledge that you are walking on the land of kings, queens, and cosmic architects.
Overnight: Cairo
After breakfast, we board a short domestic flight to Luxor — the ancient city once known as Waset, the spiritual and political heart of Upper Kemet and the original City of Light.
Upon arrival, settle into your hotel and soak in the energy of a land once ruled by divine kings and priestesses. Then enjoy a Regal carriage ride through town, a nostalgic nod to old-world Egypt, before stepping into the colorful souks, where perfumers, spice merchants, and artisans keep timeless traditions alive. This is the perfect place to collect sacred oils, gifts, or personal adornments for your journey.
As evening falls, prepare for a soul-stirring encounter. We gather at the Karnak Temple — the largest spiritual complex of the ancient world — for a mesmerizing Sound & Light Show. Watch as stone walls speak, pillars glow, and divine memory comes alive through light, story, and sound.
This evening is designed to stir something ancient within you — an awakening memory, a soul echo, a royal whisper.
You are not just witnessing history — you are walking it.
Overnight: Luxor
Before dawn, rise for one of the most unforgettable moments of the journey — a hot air balloon ride over Luxor. As the sun peeks over the horizon, witness the Valley of the Kings and the West Bank unfold beneath you, bathed in gold. This is sacred ground — resting place of Pharaohs, Queens, Priests, and builders of an eternal civilization.
After landing, enjoy breakfast before heading into a powerful day of ancestral reconnection.
Stand at the towering Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of Kemet’s most iconic rulers — a woman who wore the beard of the pharaoh and reigned with divine intelligence.
Walk through the Valley of the Kings, final resting place of great rulers including Tutankhamun. Each tomb is a universe of celestial symbols, colors, and codes — designed to guide the soul into immortality.
Gaze upon the Colossi of Memnon, guardians of memory that have watched over Thebes for over 3,000 years.
Visit Medinet Habu, the exquisitely preserved Temple of Ramses III, adorned with intricate carvings that reveal sacred rituals, battles, and mythic wisdom.
This day is more than sightseeing — it's soul memory. A return to power, purpose, and the eternal voice of your lineage.
Overnight: Luxor
Option Add-On: Hot Air Balloon
Lunch is included today, allowing space to reflect and recharge.
The morning opens with golden light over Luxor’s East Bank — once the ceremonial heart of ancient Thebes. Here, the divine and the Royal danced side by side in stone.
Begin with a visit to the Luxor Temple, one of the most spiritually charged sites in all of Kemet. Built by Amenhotep III and expanded by Ramses II, this temple aligned with the stars is believed to have housed divine initiation rites and sacred festivals.
Next, begin your scenic overland transfer south toward Aswan, traveling along the Nile’s edge through temple-studded terrain.
En route, stop to explore:
Edfu Temple, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, dedicated to Horus — the falcon-headed god of protection and kingship. Feel the ancient codes of divine masculine power inscribed into its walls.
Kom Ombo Temple, a rare dual-deity temple honoring Sobek (crocodile god of fertility and rebirth) and Horus the Elder. This sacred site bridges healing, justice, and cosmic balance.
As the sun sets, arrive in Aswan, a gateway to Nubia and land of ancient trade, gold, and river gods. Enjoy a serene check-in to your hotel overlooking the Nile, where beauty and stillness surround you.
Later, gather for an evening bonfire — an intimate moment to reflect, unwind, and connect beneath Aswan’s starry sky.
Overnight: Aswan
Rise early for one of the most unforgettable mornings of your life.
Today, you’ll journey to Abu Simbel — a breathtaking monument to divine Kingship and ancestral memory. Carved directly into a mountainside by Pharaoh Ramses II, these colossal temples were designed to align with the sun and honor his wife, Queen Nefertari. A testament to African genius and devotion, Abu Simbel reminds us how far back our excellence truly goes.
Return to Aswan and continue your sacred pilgrimage at the enchanting Philae Temple, dedicated to Goddess Isis, the matron of magic, motherhood, and resurrection. Surrounded by water and relocated stone by stone after the Aswan Dam’s construction, this temple is a living metaphor for endurance, love, and divine femininity.
Pause for reflection at the High Dam, a symbol of modern Egyptian engineering, before surrendering to the soft embrace of the Nile.
Later, venture into the shimmering gold of the sand dunes on the west bank of the Nile, a dramatic desert‑edge where the river meets the sands. Here you can:
Walk the soft dunes as the desert breeze hums over the golden crest — ideal for reflection, journaling, or quiet meditation.
Choose an optional sand‑boarding or 4×4 dune adventure, tapping into the thrill of desert movement and panoramic views across river and sand.
Witness the light shift as sun meets sand and water — a sensory mix of stillness and awe.
This is a day of soul alignment — where every step, story, and current moves you closer to your own inner Royalty.
Overnight: Aswan
As your journey draws to a close, we shift into a day of beauty, gratitude, and deep cultural connection.
This morning, we travel to one of the most vibrant communities in Egypt — a Nubian village nestled along the Nile’s banks. Known for their colorful homes, rich heritage, and warm hospitality, the Nubians are descendants of one of the oldest civilizations in Africa. You'll explore the village’s painted alleyways, engage with local artisans, and witness a culture that has retained its ancestral rhythm despite centuries of change.
Take time for henna adornment or a relaxed tea session in a traditional Nubian home — each design and sip a gentle reminder of the divine feminine, protection, and beauty.
Later that evening, dress in your finest
Galabia for a Farewell Dinner. This will be a moment of reflection, laughter, and celebration of the bonds formed and the path forward.
We gather not just as travelers, but as soul kin who dared to remember.
Overnight: Aswan
Your time in Kemet comes to a gentle close.
After breakfast, we bid farewell to Aswan and take a morning flight to Cairo for onward connections home. Though the journey ends, the transformation continues — you return not only with memories and photos, but with deeper insight, ancestral alignment, and a radiant expansion of self.
You came seeking roots.
You return crowned with remembrance.
Travel Tip: Be sure your return flight departs later in the day to allow for a smooth transition from Aswan to Cairo.
Departure: Aswan → Cairo → Home
