Yoga, fitness, meditation, adventuring...we'll do it all during our 8 day, 7 night week at Playa Hermosa in Costa Rica. We will enjoy 2 yoga, fitness and meditation practices daily in one of our two open air shalas surrounded by the jungle. All delicous, organic meals are included in our week. With plenty of time to connect with others, go on adventures, ride bikes to the beach, or rest by the private pool or in a hammock at our retreat center, our week is sure to be a restful, rejuvinating and relaxing trip we all need.
What sets Vida Asana apart from other yoga retreat centers is their jungle setting, located close to the beautiful beach of Playa Hermosa, only 90 minutes from the airport in San Jose. Vida Asana serves healthy garden to table cuisine with guests enjoying three organic meals per day. Vida Asana accommodates gluten-free diets as well.
Vida Asana is located on a river in the jungle one mile from the beach with two yoga shalas, spacious dining and lounge area, pool, hammocks, and many places to chill, relax, write in your journal, and get to know your peers.
The rooms are modest yet very quiet and comfortable. There are bicycles on site for us to use and there is access to surfboard rentals, nature hikes, visits to waterfalls, and all sorts of other adventures.
A $500.00 deposit is required to hold your spot (non-refundable, but transferable)
Refunds and Cancellations: Refund less deposit before December 1st, 2024 . In case of cancellation, you may transfer your deposit or your reservation to another person as long as you notify Krista Mason in advance. If Krista is able to fill your spot, she will refund your deposit. Due to arrangements made with our vacation hosts, there can be no exceptions to this policy. All participants will be required to sign a liability waiver to participate on this trip.
We HIGHLY recommend that you consider purchasing Travel Insurance. Travel insurance companies like Travel Guard and Trawick offer policies that insure your investment in case you need to cancel (including “cancel for any reason” coverages), coverages for expenses incurred due to to weather & travel delays, personal property loss and emergency travel medical. Please review policies carefully to choose the coverage you need.

It is a true rainforest experience, complete with hanging bridges, rushing rivers, waterfalls, and clear fresh-water swimming pools. The tour finishes up with a home cooked traditional lunch.

Our retreat host Sean leads a beautiful walk along the local lookout point made from modern ruins and claimed by local artists.
