About your trip

Our inner landscape is a sacred map—a dynamic network of energy channels, emotions, and hidden patterns that shape every experience.

By understanding how energy flows, where it becomes blocked, and how it transforms, we empower ourselves to release what no longer serves us, rewrite outdated narratives, and develop a deeper relationship with our highest Self.

Drawing on the ancient wisdom of the chakra system alongside modern insights into the brain and central nervous system, this 6-day journey invites you to integrate every facet of your being—the light and the shadow, the known and the forgotten. Here, every challenge is an initiation into deeper wisdom, resilience, and spiritual evolution.

Set in the tranquil embrace of Topanga Canyon, you will engage in a transformative blend of trauma-informed yoga, meditation, breathwork, mantra, deep self-inquiry, and shadow work. In this nurturing environment, we don’t shy away from discomfort; instead, we meet it with radical honesty and compassion, transmuting pain into understanding and resistance into release.

This journey calls you to move toward your emotions with tenderness, viewing them not as obstacles but as gentle guides back to your true self. By holding a mirror to the parts that feel disconnected, unraveling unconscious patterns, and cultivating unshakable empathy, you begin to dissolve the barriers that keep you separated—from yourself, from others, and from the Source within.

As you embrace this sacred work, you release limiting belief systems and reconnect with the profound truth of interconnection, remembering that every being is woven together as One.

What You Will Explore & Experience:

  • Shadow Work, Ego, and the Kleshas: Delve into the unconscious forces that shape your perceptions and behaviors.
  • Trauma, the Brain, and the Nervous System: Understand how stored experiences impact your physical and energetic body, including insights into the vagus nerve.
  • Self-Regulation Practices: Learn to navigate triggers with awareness, breath, and presence.
  • The Mind/Body Connection: Explore how thoughts, emotions, and past experiences shape your reality.
  • The Nadis, Chakras, and the Subtle Body: Discover the energy channels that influence your healing process.
  • Asana and Pranayama for Each Energy Center: Engage in practices designed to restore balance and flow.
  • Compassionate Transformation: Move toward understanding, forgiveness, and authentic self-acceptance without spiritual bypass.
  • Deeper Spiritual Alignment: Cultivate a more intimate, meaningful relationship with the Divine.

Understanding the interplay of trauma, emotions, and the shadow self is key to healing and well-being. With the courage to explore these inner landscapes, you unlock a profound sense of liberation—where peace, clarity, and self-acceptance take root.

Yoga becomes more than a practice; it is a sacred toolkit that offers the wisdom, structure, and support to navigate your inner terrain with grace and resilience.

I invite you to step into this transformative journey—to unravel what has held you back, to reclaim your energy, and to reawaken your connection with God, as you understand this sacred force to be.

Over six immersive days, surrounded by the wild beauty of Topanga, you will be nurtured with exquisite plant-based meals, the healing energy of ocean air, and the restorative magic of nature. Within a compassionate community, you will find a supportive and loving container for deep healing, reflection, and renewal.

I look forward to sharing this sacred work with you as we journey together toward greater freedom, connection, and spiritual alignment.

Things to know

📍 Address to the property will be given the week before the retreat starts.

👉 Substance-Free Retreat
To create a peaceful, focused environment for everyone, we kindly ask that all participants refrain from using substances. This includes alcohol, cigarettes, smoking materials, and illicit drugs. We maintain a substance-free environment to help support everyone’s well-being. If this request is not respected, we reserve the right to ask participants to leave the retreat without a refund. Prescription medications are exempt from this policy. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

👉 Like Adult Summer Camp – We’re All in This Together!
This is a cozy, communal retreat, not a traditional retreat center. The property is a private home on 9 beautiful acres with "glamping" style cabins and rooms. All rooms share bathrooms, and meals will be served "family style." We’ll all pitch in by rinsing our dishes and helping the chef with meal cleanup. It’s all about sharing and supporting each other—like one big family!

👉 Close Shared Spaces
This retreat is very communal, with shared bedrooms and bathrooms. Some beds may be as close as 3 feet apart. If you feel uncertain about being in close quarters due to Covid-19 or for any other reason, we totally understand. It might be best to wait for a time that feels right for you. We want you to feel comfortable and safe!

Getting to Topanga

2/26/25 UPDATE – Road closures on Topanga Canyon Blvd from PCH may continue until the retreat, which means you'll need to enter the canyon from the valley side. I'll keep you updated as we get closer to the retreat. Hopefully, this will be resolved before August.

Getting to the Property…

  • The address will be provided the week before the retreat starts.
  • LAX is approximately 37 miles from the property (with current road closures).
  • Burbank Airport is about 27 miles from the property.

The drive from either airport can take anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours, depending on traffic. This is Los Angeles, so be prepared for potential delays at any time of day. Plan accordingly.

While a car can be useful during your stay in Topanga, it’s not essential. There are always people willing to carpool for hikes or trips into town, and many retreat participants arrange airport rides via our Facebook group. It’s a great way to meet others!

If you’d like more flexibility in your travel, feel free to rent a car. There’s plenty of parking available on the property.

Cabs, Lyft, and Uber are all options for getting to the retreat.

Arrival Time: Please plan to arrive no earlier than 3:00pm, as requested by the property manager. If you arrive early, Topanga has plenty of things to do, and the property is only a 10-minute drive from the main town. Once registered, you'll receive a digital packet with things to do in the area.

If you're not renting a car, it’s better to spend time in Santa Monica, Venice, or the Valley (depending on your arrival location), rather than trying to get a cab, Uber, or Lyft from inside Topanga Canyon, as it can be challenging unless arranged in advance.

If you have any questions about your travel plans, feel free to email Jessica at jessica@seanecorn.com.

On Your Way Home… Expect longer drive times when heading to the airport, so we recommend giving yourself at least 1-2 hours for travel, especially with the road closures. If you're renting a car, be sure to leave a little extra time.

If you're booking a ride to the airport, it's best to arrange it beforehand, as many services don't pick up in the area. Canyon Car Service is a popular option.

The last class ends at 11:00am on Sunday, with brunch at 11:30am, and check-out at 12:00pm.

👉 0-14 days before the retreat: No refunds will be issued.
