- Cancellations made 45 days prior to arrival, 25% penalty applies.  

- Cancellations made between 44 to 30 days prior to arrival, 50% penalty applies. - Cancellations made between 29 to 15 days prior to arrival, 75% penalty applies.

- Cancellations made between 14 to 0 days prior to arrival, 100% penalty applies.  

- Portions of the trip not used or no shows, are non refundable.

ï Please be informed that travellers have to be three hours in advance at the International Airports in order to aboard their international flight.

We will also include a glass bottle so you can refill instead of buying plastic bottles of water around the country.

Rates are valid for 2020 - 2021, yet they do not apply on certain Holidays such as, but not limited to: New Year, World Youth Week, Carnivals, Holy Week, National Holidays, Christmas, etc. Rates are subject to change.

• Cancellations 4 – 0 days prior to arrival – no refund
• Unused Services, No Show or Changes – No partial refunds will be given for unused hotel rooms, meals, activities, events , tours or trip arrangements for any reason. Land cost quoted as a package and credits are not given for services not used.

If he or she is unable to resolve the issue, call our main office and give us the details of the problem, so that we have the opportunity to correct it during your trip. Trip Protection

IL VIAGGIO TRAVEL has civil responsibility insurance but declines any responsibility for personal accidents. We strongly recommend buying an international travel insurance policy.

Private transfer from the airport to your 2 bedroom apartment. Here, your guide will give you the Welcome kit and review itinerary with you. He will answer any question that you have. 

In advance, we will ask our guest to give us a ¨shopping list¨ so you can have the food that you need to cook dinner. 

Lodging in San Jose 

This morning, your guide will pick you up and take you to a coffee tour. Visiting one of the largest coffee plantation in Costa Rica will allow you to learn everything about the process related to cultivation, processing and good practices, as well as your natural and cultural environment. After the coffee tour, you will enjoy of a delicious typical lunch. Then, continue up to the mountain where you will visit a local milking farm. Our stars are five cows from the farm totally used to receiving visits and sharing with them. In our dairy, visitors can learn about milking practices guided by a milkman. At the end of your visit do not forget the selfie with your favourite cow!

Finishing with a good cup of coffee (or hot chocolate) with some local pastries while you enjoy the sunset. 

At the end of the day, your guide will take you back to your place for a good night of sleep. 

Lodging in San Jose 

Your guide will pick you up and take you to visit a local artisan. Let us show you one of the most popular traditions in Costa Rica, the Masquerades. During this tour, you will have the opportunity to visit the house and workshop of a local craftsman in Ciudad Colon, design, create and paint the masks for the traditional maroon. This tradition has been in the culture of Costa Rica since the 17th century and consists of building the mask based on clay, paper and glue. The design varies depending on the creativity of the craftsman but they are always very funny. The tour does not only consist of visiting the house and workshop of the craftsman, but also will participate in the design and elaboration of one of the masquerades and also enjoy the delicious homemade breakfast made by the mother and the artisan's sister in an authentic kitchen of wood.

Then, you will continue your trip to the Central Pacific. On the way, your guide will make a stop at a supermarket so you can get groceries for the next couple of days.

 Free day for you at the beach. This day is at your disposal to spend time at the beach, walk around the rain forest or just relax as a couple. If you come with your kids, this is the perfect family time, chasing the waves, building sand castles or look for crabs are some of the many ideas to enjoy all together. 

Lodging at 2 bedroom apartment on the Central Pacific. 

This would be your last day in Costa Rica, your guide will pick you up at the hotel at the agreed time. Then he will take you to the airport, the drive is for about 1 1/2 hours. Please note that you must be at the airport 3 hours before your flight and the one you need to obtain your departure taxes are $ 29usd per person and can be purchased at the airport.
