We had the opportunity to go on this incredible trip with Il Vaggio Tours. We had my daughter in a wheelchair and our elderly parent who uses a walker. The trip planned by Augostina was perfect for 7 days and involved visiting San Jose, La Fortuna and Manuel Antonio. We visited the volcanoes, botanical garden, rain forest, national parks, river with crocodiles and birds and the beach. We had a fantastic guide Juvenal who is extremely knowledgeable about the area and the roads as well as the flora and fauna of this incredible costa rica. He went above and beyond his job description in helping us over the difficult trerrain in some of the parks and answering all our questions with incredible patience. Juvenal also drove us all over the country over the narrow mountain roads in fog and in rain. Stephanie (General Manager) was very kind to drop by the hotel and make sure our stay was comfortable. For accessible travel in Costa Rica, you cannot find a better team for a comfortable journey meeting all your 'must do' activities. Pura Vida.

En algunas situaciones las dificultades de acceso ha complicado el recorrido, especialmente en el caso de aquellos lugares o actividades en las que era necesario utilizar una embarcación. Las embarcaciones, en muchas ocasiones, no estaban habilitadas ni preparadas para que accedieran personas en silla de ruedas. No obstante, siempre se resolvió la situación de forma satisfactoria con la colaboración de todos. Nuestro guia durante el viaje, Harold, es un excelente profesional, con un saber hacer que ha superado todas nuestras expectativas. Planificador, detallista, siempre pendiente de nosotros, organizado, resolutivo, amable, simpático y educado. Con una cultura inmensa y un conocimiento profundo tanto del pais y su geografia como de su flora y fauna. Sabia casi casi de cualquier tema. Il Viaggio Travel’s planning, professionalism, and reliability are beyond question; we always received prompt and efficient service. One of us traveled in a wheelchair. At times, accessibility issues made the journey challenging, particularly regarding locations or activities that required the use of a boat. Often, the boats were not equipped or set up to accommodate wheelchair users. However, every situation was resolved satisfactorily thanks to everyone's cooperation. Our guide, Harold, is an outstanding professional whose expertise exceeded all our expectations. He was meticulous in his planning and attention to detail, always attentive to our needs, organized, and a great problem-solver—not to mention kind, personable, and polite. He possesses immense cultural knowledge and a deep understanding of the country, its geography, and its flora and fauna; he seemed to know a little bit about almost everything. His approach went far beyond the merely professional; he treated us—and made us feel—like family. Harold, you are incredible! Thank you so very much.

We had an absolutely fantastic family trip to Costa Rica with Il Viaggio Travel. From the initial planning through to the final day, Stephanie was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and responsive, and did a brilliant job of shaping the itinerary around our families interests in wildlife, nature and family appropriate adventures. The trip itself was exceptional - from turtle nesting in Tortuguero and the rainforest of Arenal, to Río Celeste, Manuel Antonio and the incredible Osa Peninsula. The organisation and logistics were seamless throughout, with our private guide Ale taking great care of us and making travelling as a family very easy. The real highlight was Osa/Drake Bay, where we experienced Corcovado, Cano Island and a fantastic evening Tapir Trail where we were lucky enough to see two tapirs and countless red-eyed tree frogs. A perfect finish to an unforgettable holiday! We would whole heartedly recommend Stephanie and Il Viaggio Travel to anyone looking for a well-organised, personal and genuinely memorable Costa Rica experience.
