Meeting and greeting at the San Jose International Airport by our staff and then
private transfer to your Hotel in San Jose.

Accommodation at Hotel Studio
Early pick up at Hotel Studio for a Guided transfer to Tortuguero, breakfast on the way. Arrival to the pier and 2 hours motor boat transfer so you arrive to the Lodge for Lunch. Afternoon visit to Tortuguero Town.
Lodging at Pachira Lodge or similar
Pachira Lodge The lodge is strategically located only 5 minutes away from the extraordinary Tortuguero National Park, and right across the main "canal" facing the town of Tortuguero. Surrounded by a network of very scenic canals, this is considered one of the most exotic regions of the world, characterized by its rich in flora and fauna.
Tortuguero National Park is the most important area of the Caribbean Midwest where the green turtles (chelonian Mydas) come to lay their eggs. Other species of sea turtles that also lay eggs along the canal of the park are Carey and Baula. The green turtles is of medium size, with long fins that can reach up to one meter long; adults can weight from 75 to 200 kg. It is an herbivorous animal. A characteristic is that they travel in large groups to mate in places away from their regular feeding areas.
Breakfast included. First a 2 hours motor boat to the pier where the transportation will take you to the restaurant where lunch will be served. After lunch your private van with guide/driver will take you to your next destination. Arenal

Hotel Tilajari: This hotel has 76 rooms and is located in Muelle de San Carlos, less than 30 minutes from Arenal Volcano and classified as a 4-star hotel with 17 hectares of impeccable gardens, pastures and tropical forest, Tilajari hosts many species of wildlife and offers a magnificent view of the San Carlos River. In its waters you can see crocodiles, huge iguanas, and many types of birds, among other animals.
Also known for its sports facilities, the hotel hosts several local and international tournaments a year, in different disciplines such as soccer, tennis and Frisbee. All of this facilities are available for the Hotel Guests.

Right after lunch your guide will take you to La Fortuna area, we will visit “Mirador Arenal 1968” for a guided hike. We’ll hike through different scenarios like mountain trails where we will enjoy the variable vegetation from secondary and primary forest to forest destroyed by the Arenal Volcano activity back at its fierce years. Also, as we walk across those stages and learn about volcano eruptions. Plus, we’ll head to an incredible lookout point and enjoy magnificent views of the Arenal Volcano. Throughout this experience, our guide will give you catching and interesting facts about the place, the fauna hidden among the trees and bushes, and of course, about the giant Arenal Volcano. At the end of the trail, you will enjoy a well-deserved snack as you take your last glances from this incredible place.
Late afternoon and evening visit to Tabacon Hot Springs. Here you will enjoy landscaped pools that provide a great views of the volcano and a multitude of options. With temperatures ranging from 83 ̊F to 103 ̊F and environments that vary from raging waterfalls to tranquil forest experiences you can find the perfect pool for their mood and the current weather conditions. Dinner included, then a return to your hotel for a good night of sleep.

Monteverde is the cloud forests which houses 2.5% of worldwide biodiversity, 10% of its flora is endemic and 50% of Costa Rica’s flora and fauna lives here. The town of Santa Elena is small and quaint, with friendly ticos, filled with tasty restaurants and folksy artisan shops.
Upon arrival you will take some typical cooking classes to learn more about our flavors and culture. Lunch included. After lunch we will head to the Hotel for check in.

In the evening you will explore the cloud forest. Night tours are equally enthralling, as you’ll encounter insects, amphibians and mammals that you would otherwise miss during the day. Such creatures include snakes, spiders, porcupines, tree frogs and more. Night tours depart at sunset, right when these nocturnal animals are beginning to wake up, look for mates, and hunt.
