An intimate, meaningful, and deeply restorative journey through Morocco
This is more than just a trip, it’s an immersion into Morocco’s rich culture, breathtaking landscapes, and warm hospitality, guided by someone who calls this place a second home. With my deep ties to Morocco, I’ve curated an experience that seamlessly blends mindful travel, cultural connection, and nervous system support.
Some days are filled with vibrant exploration - wandering ancient cities, connecting with artisans, and sharing meals with locals. Others invite you to slow down - sipping mint tea in peaceful gardens, practicing gentle yoga, and taking in the golden glow of the Atlas Mountains. With carefully balanced pacing, you’ll feel deeply cared for every step of the way.
Nicole’s approach to mindful travel has been featured in Katie Couric Media. Read the article here.
This retreat is for travelers who are:
-Open to group travel and deep cultural immersion
-Flexible, adaptable, and curious about exploring the world beyond the typical tourist path
-Interested in mindful travel that respects local traditions and gives back to the community
-Seeking a balanced experience: adventure paired with deep rest and integration
We’ll be staying at Bab Zouina, a stunning eco-retreat in the Ourika Valley, known for its traditional Moroccan craftsmanship, exquisite gardens, and breathtaking mountain views. You’ll be welcomed with warmth and care, experiencing Morocco through the eyes of those who call it home.
$200 per booking will go to support the following charities:
Education for All - Expanding Access to Education for Girls in Rural Morocco
Very few girls from rural communities in Morocco get the opportunity to continue their education after primary school. In fact, in rural areas, up to 83% of women are illiterate. To help tackle this, EFA, a Moroccan NGO, is building and running girls’ boarding houses near secondary schools, so girls from rural families can continue their education.
Amal – Empowering Women Through Culinary Skills
Amal is a non-profit that provides culinary training for Moroccan women facing barriers to employment, including widows, single mothers, and orphans. By refining their skills in a professional kitchen and securing jobs in restaurants and cafés, these women gain financial independence and break cycles of generational poverty.
“Nicole's retreat was life-changing. Every day felt like a dream—meeting inspiring locals, exploring hidden gems, and unwinding with yoga under the stars. Her deep love for Morocco shines through in every detail, making this experience unlike any other.”
“Nicole's expertise in nervous system regulation made this trip incredibly grounding. I felt safe, cared for, and fully present. The perfect balance of adventure and rest.”
“If you want to immerse yourself in Moroccan culture in a way that feels deeply personal and enriching, this is the retreat for you. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, and I will cherish this experience forever.”
This retreat is an opportunity to step into a world of beauty, connection, and restoration. I take care of everything so you can fully immerse yourself in the experience.

Please plan to fly into Marrakesh Menara Airport (RAK) and arrive by 3:00 pm on Sunday Oct. 17, 2026. You can book your return flight anytime on Sunday, Oct 24, 2026 or if you are booking the Sahara Extension Trip, anytime on Thursday Oct 29, 2026.
Airport transfers will be arranged for you (anytime day or night).
To secure your spot, place a 30% deposit; final payments will be due 60 days prior to the trip (by August 17, 2026).
Trip insurance is required to protect against any unforeseen circumstances. Plan to budget about $200-300 for insurance. Squaremouth is a great resource for comparing different plans. I highly recommend selecting a plan that has a “cancel for any reason’ upgrade and purchasing travel insurance within 14 days of booking this trip to maximize your coverage options.
Cancellation Policy: Your deposit is non-refundable. The remaining fees are fully refundable (minus any unrecoverable transaction fees) 91 days in advance. Cancellations 61 to 90 days in advance are eligible for a 50% refund of fees above the deposit. Payments made in the 60 days prior to the retreat are non-refundable. If you are able to find a replacement, we will refund your payment less your deposit and any non-recoverable fees.
This policy exists because we need to ensure that we can meet financial obligations to our venues and in-country partners. This is why trip insurance is so helpful (and required)!
If the trip is canceled due to COVID-19 or other unforeseen circumstances, all payments, minus the deposit will be fully refunded. Deposits are transferrable to a rescheduled trip.
Please inquire about alternate payment plans as we are happy to make them available.
