About your trip

ā€œStill waiting to feel ā€˜ready’? The path begins when you say yes — not when you feel perfect.ā€
Discover the confidence to lead kirtan with heart, even if you've never led before.

Is this for you?

ā€œThis Isn’t Just About Learning Songs—It’s About Becoming Who You Really Are.ā€

When I first began chanting, I wasn’t trying to be a kirtan leader—I was simply offering my emotions to the Divine. Sadness, joy, frustration, love… I sang it all—to nature, to my altar, to the silence. The response? Relief. Connection. Joy. Soul nourishment.

Over time, I realized: it’s not about complex music or polished performance.
It’s about authenticity, consistency, and creating a space where devotion flows.

Kirtan became my spiritual practice—one that gave deep meaning to my voice and my life.
That’s what I want to share with you.

That’s why I created this training, to help you awaken your voice, deepen your devotion, and finally feel confident sharing your sacred sound.

When you sign up now, you’re not just joining a week in India…

Testimonial

✨ ā€œAnanda’s teachings are truly a transmission—powerful, devotional, and heart-opening. He creates a loving space where everyone feels safe to flourish into their unique expression. Each day I fell in love with the deities through yoga and kirtan, and even though I had sung these chants for years, this training brought a new depth of meaning and embodiment. Learning harmonium in such a nourishing environment felt so natural and fulfilling. I left with a heart full of devotion, new chants to carry forward, and a deeper connection to my soul’s gifts. Forever grateful!ā€ – Ninna - Kirtan Training Participant

Why Choose Me?

Namaste, my name is Ananda Das—a seasoned kirtan leader, touring musician, and founder of the Modern Bhakti Yoga Academy. With over 17 professionally produced albums, 3 million+ streams, and 15+ years of global teaching and performance, I’ve not only walked the path of devotional music—I’ve built the bridge between spiritual expression and professional artistry.

What sets me apart is that I don’t just teach you how to sing—I empower you to step into your voice, lead with confidence, and embody your devotion.

I created this training because it’s the one I wish I had when I was starting out. I know what it’s like to feel called but unsure, devoted but scared to be seen. Through thousands of hours leading kirtan and mentoring students, I’ve developed a system that blends vocal empowerment, instrument training, and deep bhakti sadhana. I’ll meet you exactly where you are—and help you rise into the devotional leader you’re becoming.
