About your trip

Step into Self

This fall, we invite you into the birthplace of the Inca Empire to explore the incomparable beauty of Lake Titicaca at the Titilaka Lodge. The Class's founder, Taryn Toomey, and Co-Facilitator Ally Bogard will guide you through a unique experience of catharsis, growth, and renewal.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE:

Healing: Taryn’s Retreatment Classes are intentionally curated to give students more time to connect to subtle layers of body, mind, and spirit.

Restoration: Ally's restorative sessions offer yoga-based stretching that is both detailed and exploratory in physical alignment, subtle body awareness, and deep relaxation.

Nutrition: All meals during The Retreatment will be curated to be gluten-free, dairy-free, refined-sugar free, and sourced from the Titilaka chefs.

Community:
We believe the most profound healings can happen in community. From morning meditations to evening bonfires, we’ll journey together.

The Location

The Birthplace of the Inca Empire

Explore the incomparable beauty of Lake Titicaca. The pristine and expansive nature of its infinite skies, steep peaks and resplendent waters, never leave anyone indifferent. Famous for its naturally ethereal beauty and for the traditional communities of the Altiplano, which maintain unique rituals and beliefs that have passed from generation to generation for hundreds of years, Lake Titicaca is the cradle of Andean civilization and the highest navigable lake in the world.

Titilaka is a remote exploration lodge located on the Peruvian shores of Lake Titicaca. Its remodeled structure along with its overwhilling views are the base from which you will live unforgettable experiences.

Titilaka is located on the southeast shore of Lake Titicaca, far from the routes usually traveled, in a quiet peninsula shared only with the Aymara indigenous community. Surrounded on three of its sides, by the pristine lake; with four acres of land, Titilaka is the perfect base to explore this virgin corner, in an area recognized for its ethereal beauty and for being the home of some of the most traditional communities of Peru.

The largest lake in South America is also the highest navigable body of water in the world. In this, the settlements of the most influential pre-Hispanic cultures of the Andean region were formed. Titilaka is located at 3810 meters or 12500 feet above sea level, with an average summer temperature of: 16.5°C - 3°C / 62°F - 37°F; and an average winter temperature of: 16°C - -2.5°C / 61°F - 27.5°F.

TC
The Class
The Class is a music-driven practice where we exercise the body to engage the mind. By clearing the body out, we can connect to the heart and a deeper level of consciousness. Through a series of repetitive cardio and strength-based exercises, students are invited to witness their response to whatever arises during the movement.
