Piramides de Titi | Los Organos, Piura, Peru.
October 18 - October 25, 2026.
Join Kassia Meador and Cristóbal Decol for a 7-day surf retreat on the northern coast of Peru, where warm waters, desert landscapes, and long, playful waves create the perfect environment for progression and connection.
We’ll be staying at Pirámides de Titi, a beachfront boutique hotel nestled in the laid-back town of Los Órganos — an ideal base to surf some of the most consistent and user-friendly waves in the region.
This stretch of coastline is known for its long, clean left-hand point breaks. Just steps from the hotel, La Puntita offers smooth, approachable waves with long walls — perfect for working on flow, style, and positioning. A short distance away, La Vuelta delivers slightly more power and shape, offering open faces ideal for carving, connecting sections, and building confidence in more dynamic conditions.
With warm water year-round and uncrowded lineups, Los Órganos provides an incredibly supportive playground for intermediate to advanced surfers looking to refine their technique while enjoying a slower rhythm of life. And beyond the waves, Peru invites us into a rich culinary experience — where we’ll savor some of its most iconic and delicious dishes, celebrating fresh seafood, vibrant local ingredients, and the bold, unforgettable flavors that make Peruvian cuisine one of the most loved in the world.
This retreat is open to both women and men, and is designed for those seeking not only to elevate their surfing, but also to immerse themselves in a meaningful experience — blending ocean time, shared moments, and the simple magic of being present in one of Peru’s most soulful coastal destinations.
Kassia Meador - is a globally recognized surfer, artist, and style icon known for her graceful, fluid approach to longboarding. With years of experience traveling the world in search of waves and deeper connection, Kassia brings a soulful perspective to surfing — blending technique, presence, and creativity. Her coaching focuses on flow, body awareness, and helping surfers develop their own unique expression in the water.
Cristóbal Decol - is a Peruvian surfer, local to the northern coast, and a seasoned professional competitor on the international stage. Deeply connected to the waves of his home country, Cristóbal combines world-class experience with intimate local knowledge of the breaks in Los Órganos and beyond. Known for his precise eye and supportive coaching style, he helps surfers refine technique, read the ocean with confidence, and elevate their performance in a grounded and inspiring way.
October marks one of the most consistent and enjoyable times to surf on the northern coast of Peru. With mild spring weather, warm water, and steady Pacific swells in the 3–6 ft range, conditions are ideal for long, clean rides along the region’s iconic left-hand point breaks. Mornings often greet us with glassy conditions and light winds, creating the perfect canvas for smooth, flowing surf sessions.
Los Órganos is known for its forgiving yet high-quality waves, making it an incredible destination for surfers looking to refine style, improve positioning, and build confidence in longer rides. Breaks like La Puntita and La Vuelta offer a balance of playfulness and performance, adapting beautifully to different boards and surf approaches.
Most suitable for:
Surfers at intermediate to advanced level looking to progress their technique
Those who enjoy long, clean waves and working on flow and style
Surfers who appreciate warm water, mellow vibes, and uncrowded sessions
Anyone seeking a balance between performance and a relaxed surf experience
Board recommendation:
ALL BOARDS WELCOME! We recommend bringing 1–2 boards you feel comfortable on. A longboard or mid-length is ideal for making the most of the long, flowing walls, while a fish or shortboard can be great for La Vuelta on more powerful days.
There may also be a limited selection of boards available for rent, but we strongly encourage bringing your own quiver to fully enjoy the variety of conditions this coastline has to offer.
Flights:
If you arrive on October 18th into Lima (LIM), we recommend scheduling your arrival in the morning to connect smoothly with your domestic flight.
From Lima, you will take a direct domestic flight to Talara (TYL), the closest airport to Los Órganos, located approximately 1 hour from the hotel.
LATAM currently operates up to three daily direct flights on this route:
Morning flight: 06:45 → 08:35
Midday flight: 10:55 → 12:45
Evening flight: 18:55 → 20:40
We strongly recommend booking one of the first two flights of the day (morning or midday), as the retreat begins with a welcome lunch followed by our Opening Circle at 4:40 pm.
**All ground transfers from Talara airport to Pirámides de Titi are included.
Important note for international arrivals:
All passengers landing in Lima must go through customs and immigration, collect their luggage, and re-check their bags at the domestic airline counters for their flight to Talara. We recommend allowing at least 3 hours between flights to ensure a smooth connection.
Departure:
Departure from Los Organos is on October 25th. There are typically three daily flights from Talara to Lima (morning, midday, and evening). We recommend booking one of the last two flights (midday or evening), as the retreat concludes with a Closing Circle, followed by check-out at 12:00 pm, allowing for a relaxed and grounded departure.
General requirements:
Valid passport (minimum 6 months validity recommended)
Return or onward ticket out of the country
Proof of accommodation or sufficient funds (not always requested, but may be required)
All deposits and payments are non-refundable.
If you need to cancel due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, please notify us as soon as possible. We are happy to work with you to try to fill your spot with a replacement guest. If a replacement is confirmed in time, your deposit and any additional payments made will be refunded minus a $250 service/processing fee.
