This is the 8th Girls that Scuba Jordan group trip we have hosted - bringing over 100 women from different corners of the world to this unique country. A trip of a lifetime; Jordan is an incredible country with so much to see! We make sure we get in all of the highlights of the country and enjoy every hour we have. This trip is for adventure seekers, divers and people looking to see and do as much as possible. It is a physical trip with days of diving and walking - you should be physically fit and healthy to join. In order to see the whole of Jordan, we will be travelling from top to bottom on our own private bus, some days there will be a few hours of driving to reach our next destination. Accommodation is based on two people sharing (twin beds) you will have a roomie for the whole trip and we will be staying in 4/5* hotels (single supplement available). Dive Requirments

  • You must be scuba dive certified - Open Water or above.
  • Wreck diving speciality is advised, but not necessary as there is an option to dive around a wreck rather than in it.
  • Night diving speciality is advised, but not necessary if you do not want to do the night dive
  • Max depth 25m
  • No equipment is necessary and rental equipment is included in the trip price
  • This trip is suitable for beginner scuba divers

22 August : A close second to Petra on the list of favourite destinations in Jordan, the ancient city of Jerash boasts an unbroken chain of human occupation dating back more than 6,500 years. We will go on a full-day tour of Jerash including a tour guide, transportation and entry fee.


23 August: The next day we will visit the Jordan Museum and the Archaeological Museum. The Jordan Museum aims to preserve, and present, the country’s rich cultural heritage. A gateway to Jordan’s tourism, the museum is a learning center that shares knowledge in many engaging ways. Jordan Archaeological Museum established in 1952 to tell the story of Jordanian civilization through displaying archaeological and historical collections. There will be no guide for these musumes and you will be free to walk around and explore yourself. Transportation is included and you will have a set meet time to depart


After the museum visits we will stop by a local perfume shop where you can create your own scenet of perfume (price not included in tour if you want to buy).


24 August: Hotel pick up and check-in to Sulaf from 12 for the first evening of the GTS tour

Amman

Day 1: Our trip starts in the Capital of Jordan - Amman. Your first night in the first hotel starts on the August 24th  - you can check in from 2 pm - where we recommend you get a good night's rest ready for the first full day in the morning. We will have a welcome dinner at a local Arabic restaurant close to the hotel.


Day 2: Let's go! Our first full day starts at 9 am. You will meet your tour guide and start with a tour of Amman Citadel and Downtown Amman walking tour. Starting at the Roman Theatre and walking around Downtown taking in all the sites and trying some local Jordainain snacks (falafel and Jordain sweets and fruits). From there we will depart Amman and head to Mount Nebo - a religious historic site with incredible views across the Jordan River.

Day 2 + 3

Dead Sea

Day 2: After Mount Nebo, we will drive the scenic route to the Dead Sea - the lowest place on Earth. We will check in to our hotel which has a private beach with direct access to the Dead Sea where we will float and get an exclusive 'Dead Sea Spa' experience of being covered in Dead Sea Mud and scrubbed with Dead Sea salt.


Day 3: A morning spent floating in the Dead Sea again, or relaxing by the beautiful infinity pool looking over Jordan and onto Israel. Late-check out and onto our next destination: Petra.

Petra

Day 3: Today we travel to Wadi Musa, the nearest village to Petra where we stay in a unique guest house with cave-style rooms, set out like a traditional village. Here we will relax in this unique setting before our full day of exploring Petra tomorrow 


Day 4: PETRA! A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most famous archaeological sites in the world - not to mention a wonder of the world. We have a full day exploring Petra with a guide. Once we have finished we continue our trip onto Aqaba for dive time!

Aqaba

Day 4: Arriving in Aqaba in the evening we check into our exclusive 5* hotel that we call home for the next 3 nights.


Day 5: It's finally dives time! We board our private boat Diversity for our first day of diving. Today we have 3 day dives.


Day 6: Dive day 2 is two day dives and one night dive! 


Day 7: Our last day on board with 2 dives. Then it's time to head to our final destination - Wadi Rum Desert.

Wadi Rum

Day 7: After departing Aqaba we travel the short distance to Wadi Rum where we will check in to our camp for the night. From there we start our jeep tour around the desert until sunset where we return to our luxury camp in time for dinner cooked in the ground! It's our last night together, let's celebrate and share our favourite memories


Day 8: Waking up in the desert is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, but unfortunately, we have to return to Amman where our trip ends. Arriving back to the capital around 2pm, we will either drop you off at Queen Alia Airport or your hotel.
