This is a mixed-skill freediving retreat. Suitable if you have tried freediving before but have not completed a course/ a freediver who completed level 1 a long time ago and wants to refresh all skills and knowledge/ a certified freediver looking to improve freediving skills. 

Freedive in the Mexican cenotes, swim with whale sharks,  stay in a private condo in the Jungle and surround yourself with fierce female freedivers! 

Freediving has the power to change lives, the feeling of diving without a tank is simply incredible, and there truly is no other place to do it quite like the cenotes of Yucatan. Alongside a group of empowering women, Girls that Scuba will be taking a group of females and introducing/re-introducing them to freediving in one of the most magical places on earth... will you be joining us?

Private condo located in the middle of the jungle but strategically located just 2 miles away from downtown Tulum. We have the whole property rented for Girls that Freedive. You will have your own large private room with a king-size bed, A/C, full bathroom, fully equipped kitchen with a coffee machine and coffee, living room, and roof garden with sunbeds. Catered delicious and nutritious breakfasts every morning (excluding one morning we leave early for whale sharks) and 4 x catered alfresco dinners. Oh, there's also hot tubs and two pools in our private condo! 

Our retreat is centred around our apartments and the cenotes, this isn't a trip to party out in Tulum, we will have a few visits into the town for group dinners, but tend to mainly stay in our own slice of paradise away from the crowds. Please be aware of this when signing up that it won't be a chance for you to explore Tulum town or beach area.

Arrive at your jungle paradise in Tulum. Relax and enjoy the pools, get to know each other and officially meet everyone for a group dinner around 19:00 at the apartments.

We will split the group into qualified and none qualified divers, qualified divers will start breathing training and out-of-water skills practices inc equalisation workshops, yoga for freediving and of course in water centoe training. 

Those with no prior freedive certification will be completing their SSI level one course including in and out of water freediving exercises. 

It's time to put into practice what you've learnt - no skills/exams/observations, just time for you to enjoy the discipline and freedom of diving. The afternoon will be spent relaxing by the pool together at the retreat house and maybe making some homemade margaritas ;)

It's whale shark season around the coast of Cancun, so we are up early to travel to the best place to see and swim with the biggest fish in the ocean! We have our own private boat with a guide, lunch, swims and a nice stop-off around Isle Mujeres before we head home.

Everything good must come to an end :( after breakfast, we will depart from the apartments before 11 am and say our goodbyes!
