The deposit is refundable up to 15 calendar days after payment, after 15 days the deposit is non-refundable.
CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellations from 180 days and up to 120 days before departure will receive 90% of the total amount. Cancellations from 120 days and up to 90 days before departure will receive 50% of the total amount. Cancellations from 90 days to 30 days prior to departure will receive a refund of 20% of the total amount. Cancellations less than 30 days prior to departure will not be refunded.
As a participant on any Nomadic Noni, LLC trip, it is your responsibility to make sure you are in compliance with all country, airline or vendor requirements including vaccines and other documents. No refund or credit will be issued if you fail to obtain the required documents or if there’s a sudden change in airline requirements resulting in your cancellation. Nomadic Noni recommends that you purchase trip insurance. All requests for cancellation must be received in writing via email at info@nomadicnoni.com. Cancellations cannot be made online. You represent and warrant that you understand and will adhere to Nomadic Noni, LLC cancellation and refund policy.

In addition, it’s the country’s most populous city. Travel through the administrative and economic districts of Accra. Also, see the W.E.B. Du Bois Center for Pan African Culture and the Independence/Black Star Square. Learn about important events in Ghana’s history and the country’s first president who helped lead Ghana to independence.
Embark on a tour of the infamous Forts, Castles, and Slave Dungeons of Ghana.

Drive through the former slave route to Assin Manso. This was the final transit point for enslaved Africans before being shipped off to the new world. Visit the Manhyia Palace Museum to obtain first-hand information on the legacies of the Ashanti kingdom, the famous Kejetia market, the National Cultural Centre which features the Prempeh II Jubilee Museum and various studios of the brass makers, potters and batik makers. Visit the three famous Ashanti craft villages; Ahwiaa, the wood carvers’ village, Ntonso, the home of Adinkra cloth, and Adanwomase, the Kente weaving village. You will have an opportunity to see how African crafts are made and to buy directly from the artisans who make them.
Besease shrine, a world heritage site. The Besease Shrine is a traditional fetish shrine near the town of Ejisu. Each of these shrines is a home for a particular spirit, called obosom that mediates between mortals and the supreme god Nyame. Observe the unique architecture and experience the mode of ancestral worship to the ancient gods.
You will pay a courtesy call on the chief and elders amidst traditional drumming and dancing by the villagers. The group will participate in a naming ceremony of recognition, where a Ghanaian name is given to participants, and a gift presented as part of celebrating a new identity as a Ghanaian and a member of the local community. Visit cedi beads factory and market. Beads play a very important role in the life and culture of the Krobo people of Ghana. Beads are used to mark family status, special occasions, and the important rite of passage of girls into puberty, called the Dipo. Participants will be shown around the factory and observe the making of beads in a traditional manner and have the opportunity to make their own beads to take home!
Visit Omanye Art Gallery, one of the most renowned art venues in Accra and Gallery 1957, named after the year Ghana gained independence, the gallery offers contemporary art with a focus on West Africa. Visit Jamestown, the historic center of British Accra. You’ll love the bright colors, authentic tastes and rich history of this charming district. Explore Jamestown’s architecture which has a unique blend of Eurocentric and Ghanaian influences, a reminder of the district’s history as the seat of British Colonial rule before Ghana’s independence
Spend the day shopping and doing last minute packing. Later, check out of the hotel and transfer to airport for check-in and final departure back home.
