My journey into cultural travel began in 1999, when I co-organized a Rites of Passage research study tour to Ghana. That experience sparked more than 25 years of creating cultural, educational, and travel experiences rooted in the African Diaspora.
Today, through Nomadic Noni, I help travelers move beyond traditional tourism to experience the history, culture, people, and connections that give a destination meaning.
From Ghana and Gullah Geechee communities to Bahia and beyond, I create culturally immersive journeys for travelers who want to explore deeper, make authentic connections, and better understand the shared stories and cultural ties of the African Diaspora.
My approach combines years of cultural programming, group travel, education, and firsthand exploration to create experiences that are both meaningful and enjoyable. Whether traveling solo or with a group, come curious, connect with community, and discover the stories behind the places you visit.
