Itinerary at a Glance

  • Day 1: Arrive in Lhasa (3,650m)
  • Day 2-3: Explore Lhasa – Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street, Drepung, and Sera Monasteries.
  • Day 4: Drive to Shigatse via Gyantse – Gyantse Kumbum and Pelkor Chode Monastery.
  • Day 5: Shigatse to Everest Base Camp (5,200m).
  • Day 6: Everest Base Camp to Gyirong Border (2,700m).
  • Day 7: Enter Nepal and transfer to Kathmandu.
