Hi there, I'm Jodye, and I love sharing Peru! Join me for an epic, journey of a lifetime. Hike the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu and experience the best of the Sacred Valley - adventure in nature, local culture, delicious food, expert guides, beautiful hotels, community, yoga and so much more!
Solo travelers are welcome! Travel with me and find your community! Low monthly payment plan through June, 2025 available!
Spend 8 days immersing yourself in the beauty of the Andes Mountains while following the footsteps of the ancient Incas.
I have so much planned for you! We first visit Chinchero, where we take a guided hike through the ruins, wander the colorful textile market and then enjoy a lakeside, catered 4 course picnic. We continue to Ollantaytambo where we spend two nights, acclimating to the altitude.
On our third day, we begin our journey on the Inca Trail. We spend three nights and four days hiking and camping through breathtaking natural landscapes, ending at Machu Picchu's Sun Gate. Along the way, you will connect with nature, witness glorious sunrises and sunsets over the Andes mountains, challenge yourself physically, and discover the secrets of this magical region. Optional, gentle yoga before dinner each evening.
At the end of our hike, we spend the night in a comfy bed at a cozy hotel at the base of Machu Picchu, in Aguas Calientes! After a good night sleep and a hearty breakfast, we take the shuttle back up the mountain to Machu Picchu where we enjoy a guided tour. Return by train Ollantaytambo for dinner. Spend the night at El Albergue again.
We celebrate our accomplishment with a day at Lake Piuray! We enjoy a pachamanca lunch and relax by the water with views of the Andes Mountains. If you'd like, you can kayak or do SUP (with a wetsuit!) Return to Cusco and spend the night at Antigua Casona.
Our four-star boutique hotels are so special. El Albergue Hotel in Ollantaytambo features beautiful gardens full of flowers, an organic farm, gourmet restaurant, a distillery and a coffee roastery. I love it so much. Our last night is at Antigua Casona in San Blas featuring a lovely courtyard with comfy sofas, hand woven blankets, firepits and wait staff ready to serve you. The Spa at Antigua is completely amazing, complete with a steam bath, jacuzzi soak, salt rubs from a local quarry, Spanish-style shower, and therapeutic massage.
Shared or private rooms available. Single travelers are welcome, and I can match you with a roommate!
