 In Week 1, volunteer with an award-winning NGO, and in Week 2, discover two top ecotourism destinations: La Fortuna and Monteverde. 

Nesting season for turtles along the Pacific Coast typically occurs between July and December. During this period, turtles come ashore to lay their eggs on the beach. It’s important to remember that these turtles are wild animals, and sightings cannot be guaranteed, even during nesting season.

The conservation projects run year-round, with essential work consistently being done to protect both the turtles and their habitats. In this unique experience, you'll actively participate in safeguarding marine and terrestrial life resources through activities such as:

• Reforestation efforts
