Your yoga teacher

The teacher on this retreat is Carlotta Lucking. Carlotta graduated in 1997 with a Diploma in the science of yoga at the Sivananda Ashram in KereIa, India and has been teaching yoga ever since. She first came to teach in London holding classes amongst others at The Life Centre and Champneys of Piccadilly, furthering her studies with both Clive Sheridan and Burgs. Burgs taught her the meditative side and practice of the breath, which forms a key component of her practice and is incorporated in detail in all her classes. On her retreat at Dolphin’s Leap Carlotta will guide participants through a Sivananda programme of yoga poses designed to bring both vitality and health to the whole being incorporating meditation, pranayama, sun salutations and then working through the Asanas with awareness into the chakras. With over 25 years of teaching yoga she has developed a yoga practice that brings attention to align, activate, soften, attune, illuminate and awaken the divine presence within. She has been teaching yoga courses at Dolphins Leap since 2017 and you can find a video of her practice at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xtj3s6kIAdI.

How to get here

For travel, we are recommending flying into Skiathos - we will be arranging a group transfer by water taxi across to us in Pelion.  It’s just a short hop from Skiathos to Katigiorgis, Pelion (25 mins by sea) and then 45 minutes drive in the minibus to us.  It really makes the journey fun and enjoyable.  Regarding flights, if you are travelling from London we are recommending flying out on Saturday and  spending the night in Skiathos (there are loads of excellent low cost hotels near the port and lots of tavernas and restaurants).  If you are flying from Bristol or Birmingham we  recommend the Sunday morning flights with either Jet2.com or Easyjet.

For guests preferring to travel via Thessaloniki, we will be arranging a private minibus transfer departing Thessaloniki Airport at around 1pm on arrival day to bring guests directly to Dolphins Leap. For the return journey, we will be arranging a private minibus transfer from Dolphins Leap back to Thessaloniki on departure day arriving at the airport by 10.30am. Many guests like to spend a night or two in Thessaloniki before making the journey down to Dolphins Leap, we would be happy to recommend hotels.
