Step back in time and explore the enigmatic Teotihuacan Pyramids, a UNESCO World Heritage site just an hour from Mexico City.  You will travel by private van to meet an expert guide to delve into the heart of this ancient civilization.

As you approach Teotihuacan, feel the excitement build as you prepare to explore the iconic Moon and Sun pyramids. Your guide will share fascinating stories about the pre-Columbian people who built this magnificent city.

Marvel at the intricate murals and palatial remains that showcase the architectural brilliance and artistic genius of the Teotihuacans. Learn about their society, culture, and influence on other civilizations.

Before heading to lunch, you will visit a local obsidian workshop to witness the traditional craft of working with this precious volcanic glass. Learn about the history of obsidian and its use in ancient civilizations.

For a taste of the local culture, you can experience an exciting Lucha Libre event, Mexico's famous wrestling tradition.  Watch as masked luchadores perform acrobatic feats and engage in high-energy battles in the ring.  This is an optional activity.

Immerse yourself in the vibrant world of Frida Kahlo at her iconic Casa Azul. Explore the galleries, kitchens, living spaces, and bedrooms where she once lived with Diego Rivera. Discover her personal belongings, studio equipment, and iconic artworks that have rarely been seen outside of Mexico City. Learn about her life, her relationship with Diego Rivera, and the impact of her childhood polio and bus accident.

Stroll through the charming Coyoacán neighborhood, known for its bohemian atmosphere and rich history.  Explore the Coyoacán Market and discover the vibrant local culture.

Enjoy a trajinera boat tour on the Xochimilco canals. Admire the colorful boats, floating gardens, and enjoy a peaceful journey  as we glide past the chinampas (Aztec made islands) and enjoy a celebratory lunch onboard while enjoying the serene atmosphere. 

Enjoy delicious food, and a celebratory atmosphere as we toast to our last full day together.  It’s a joyous and fitting way to conclude our Mexico City adventure.
