This fun and engaging 4 week program includes 80-hours of Spanish Instruction (20 hours per week) along with a private room and bathroom in our brand new student residence (Hacienda NSI). The residence is under a kilometer to campus and about a 10 minute walk for 5 minute bike ride and about a 25 minute walk or 10 minute bike ride to the beach. Hacienda NSI is Tucked in a little local neighborhood and is a great option for those that want a more authentic neighborhood to experience and those looking for a relatively less expensive option than nearby hotels and airbnbs.
The residence only has 3 rooms so it' tends to fill up quickly. Each room has a private ensuite bathroom, AC, ceiling fan, wi-fi, hot water and double bed. There is also a large, modern, shared kitchen with a large refrigerator, gas oven, coffee maker, air fryer, slow cooker, etc for your use. There are nearby grocery stores as well to stock up. There is also a shared common area and patio with hammock chairs, sofa, TV and couch. It's not uncommon to see and hear the monkeys from the patio.
Check ins are Sundays between 3-8pm and checkouts are Sundays at 10am.
Classes are Monday thru Friday.
Cost: $350.00 per week
Class times will be from 8-1140am or 1-440pm. **Please note that we are unable to guarantee specific time slots due to the fluctuating levels that we recieve each week but we will do our best to match any preferences.**
At NSI we use a communicative teaching methodology, where the main goal is the improvement of the students' communication skills, encouraging spontaneous and creative use of the language, using real communicative situations and activities that teach Spanish in the way we really use it.

Spanish classes are held daily Monday - Friday and students in our 20-hour program are most often scheduled from 8-1140am or 1-440pm. A typical day in classes and at Hacienda NSI.
7am: Make a quick breakfast or smoothie in the kitchen and enjoy on the patio.
8am-1140am: Spanish Classes
1140am-1:00pm: Students typically head into town or go home for lunch.
1:pm-6pm: Free time, most often spent at the beach, doing yoga, shopping, studying, or participating in an NSI event.
6pm: With only three rooms there is plenty of space to hang out. Make dinner and enjoy the company of other students.
