On this 3-days adventure you will get a better and deeper inside in the Swiss culture and have the possibility to spend more time with your guide and learn about Swiss habit, traditions and combine it with a fun a diverse itinerary.
Starting with a visit to the locals’ favorite, the Queen of the mountains, Mount Rigi. This day trip is a gorgeous round trip including a scenic boat ride on Lake Lucerne followed by a gorgeous cogwheel train ride to the top. If you like to include a easy to moderate hike it will be possible to do so. Once you reach the top there will be a summit picnic with a spectacular view of the Swiss Alps. The way back is by cable car and a second boat ride.
On the second day we will move to the Bernese Oberland, the home of some of the highest peaks of the Alps. The drive through the Alps feels like driving through a postcard. We visit the popular town of Interlaken and the world-famous village of Lauterbrunnen which is surrounded by huge cliffs and gorgeous waterfalls.
Close to Lauterbrunnen is our next stop Grindelwald where we have a stroll through the village and the traditional Swiss chalets right in front of the most famous mountain for climbing of the alps, the Eiger north face. Of course you also visit the famous village of Interlaken which is located between to gorgeous lakes, Lake Brienz and Lake Thun.
On the last day we explore the most charming city of Switzerland Lucerne, with its charming old town, medieval architecture, the historical lion monument and world famous chapel bridge you will be blown away be this pretty city.
To not only see the tourists attractions we will explore the hidden gems around the Peninsula of Horw where we cruise through local villages, the country side and you get to see where to locals hang out and spots no tourists get to see. The bikes are very easy to pedal due to the electric assist and its fun to drive on 3 wheels, the bikes are very comfortable and a lot of fun to steer on the safe and bike paths which Lucerne is famous for. Since Switzerland and especially Lucerne has a bike biking culture this is a great way of not just learning about the local culture but actually be part of it while riding like one of them.
