Definitely the best guides we've ever had. They were punctual, helpful, interesting, and entertaining. We cannot say enough about Riccardi travel. We were met at the Zurich airport by Pedro and take to Lucerne. Thought the week we were with Pedro, or Sandi, or Roberto. We had a great morning with Roberto and his beautiful wife, Natalie Five star service. We will definitely hire them in the future. CIAO ROBERTO!

Four of us traveled with Roberto’s company and it was beyond fabulous. The first day we visited Mt. Rigi with Marc. He was funny, engaging and very knowledgeable about the area. We enjoyed lunch at a quaint family owned restaurant. I would highly recommend it! Next we took a cargo bike tour with Roberto and Sommer. Fun! Fun! Fun! Saw parts of Lucerne where there were no tourists. Great photos of Mt. Pilates, the lake, beautiful neighborhoods and gardens. Wonderful experience, I hope to return one day for a repeat! What began as an absolute nightmare arrival due to flight delays and lost baggage, ended up being the most memorable of experiences of our life. Roberto quickly calmed our nerves upon arrival in Zurich, with a fresh pastry, ginger shot for energy and an iced coffee. While our travel plans were delayed, causing a rupture in our initial plans, Roberto was a champ and professional, making the most of our first day and then tailor made the next 3 days to suit our schedule. Even when he was booked up, Roberto put us in great hands with Mark, who is an incredible team member of Riccardi travel. We spent two days with each of them and consider them family. Not only their knowledge of Switzerland, Lucerne and all the sights, but the genuine care and humanity shown at all times. They seemed to be having as much fun as we did and it was contagious. We quickly put our worries behind and ventured to the most beautiful towns, in Interlaken, Grindelwald, Brienz, atop Mt. Rigi, Christmas Markets and more. We dined at the best local hot spots, little treasures that only true locals can speak about. We were sad to leave Luzern, as Roberto and Mark set the bar very high for the rest of our travels through Europe. Can not thank them enough as they are the absolute best at what they do!

We had a lovely day exploring the Bern area of Switzerland. Our guide, Pedro, was professional and knowledgeable, picking us up at our hotel on time in a spotless van, and being very flexible with our timing throughout the day. We were able to fit in 3 different stops, our favorites were the stop at Giessenbach Grand hotel to see the waterfalls, explore the grounds, have coffee and pastries, and then ending our day with a delicious wine and fondu lunch in Grindelwald. If I were to do it again I MIGHT think about scaling back to 2 stops - Giessenbach plus either Lauterbrunner or Grindewald, just because it was a lot of driving and it would have been nice to have a little more time to explore. BUT we really liked all 3 stops so I am not sure which I would skip. This area of Switzerland is incredibly beautiful, and I am so glad we were able to experience it!
