Join us for eleven nights and ten full days as we explore the rich cultural capital of Buenos Aires, the mountainous wine country of Mendoza, and the natural wonders of Iguazú Falls.

Throughout the trip we will have the opportunity to dine at a wide variety of extraordinary restaurants (from casual street food to fine dining). While the tour offers many unique scheduled experiences, its casual structure also provides daily opportunities for guests to adjust the plans to match their interests and desired speed and intensity.
IDENTIFICATION ~ For US citizens, travel to Argentina requires a valid passport but does not require a visa for stays of less than 90 days. Travel to Brazil requires a valid passport and a tourist visa. For all other nationalities, please check with your consulate for travel identification requirements.

WEATHER ~ September is the beginning of spring in Argentina and a great time to travel. Buenos Aires temperatures range from 72f daytime to 57f at night. Mendoza ranges from 78f daytime to 45f at night with more change of rain than Buenos Aires. Iguazú Falls is more tropical with even greater chances of rain and temps between 84f during the day and 60f at night.
PHYSICAL EXERTION ~ Moderate Exertion (3 of 5) ~ This tour consists of mostly moderately paced walking with a small amount of climbing stairs. For those wanting more vigorous exertion, each destination will have opportunities for hiking.
Accommodations for 11 nights for one person in a double occupancy room (unless single occupancy upgrade is chosen)
Ground transportation between Buenos Aires airport (EZE) and hotel on all scheduled flight days including arrival day and departure day.
Transportation between Buenos Aires & Mendoza, between Mendoza & Iguazú Falls, and between Iguazú Falls & Buenos Aires.
Transportation to and from all scheduled daily activities.
Entrance fees for all scheduled cultural sites, museums and special studio visits.
Two vineyard wine tastings and three meals including a Welcome Dinner on the arrival day (guests are responsible for all other meals)
Guests are responsible for arranging and purchasing their own travel to ensure arrival at, and departure from, the Buenos Aires airport (EZE) on designated arrival/departure days.
Other than the noted meals and winetastings, all other food and drink are the guest's responsibility.
Insurance is not included. We recommend tourists consider purchasing their own travel & health insurance and consult with their medical professional regarding recommended vaccinations & precautions.
Friday is our arrival day and the only scheduled event this day is our welcome dinner. Saturday and Sunday are full days in Buenos Aires.
While in Buenos Aires, we'll visit Museums, Art Galleries, Artists' Studios, and Cultural Sites, including: Plaza de Maya, San Telma Market, Colon Theater, Palermo, Casa Rosada, Recoleta Cemetery, and the La Boca Neighborhood.
Monday we will leave Buenos Aires and travel by plane to the world famous wine region of Mendoza where we will spend all day Tuesday and Wednesday exploring the colonial city's tree-lined streets and cultural sites, as well as take excursions out the vineyards for tours and wine tastings.
Thursday we travel by plane from Mendoza to Puerto Iguazú.
Iguazú Falls is made up of two national parks - one in Argentina and one in Brazil. Both are UNESCO World Heritage sites. The main attraction of the parks is the massive series of waterfalls; we will visit both parks so that we can experience the falls from many different vantage points.
On Saturday we will have an evening flight back to Buenos Aires.
Sunday and Monday are full days in Buenos Aires where we will continue to explore the city. Tuesday is day 12 and is the scheduled departure day. There are no scheduled activities on this day.
