What does it truly mean to live yoga?
For us, yoga is both a practice and a way of life. It’s a path that shapes our choices, our awareness, and our connection to ourselves and the world. This retreat is born from our own experience of how personal practice can transform life, helping us stay rooted in a fast-changing world while keeping an open heart. We have found that a daily practice can become a compass that helps us navigate life’s uncertainties and reminds us of what’s truly important.
In a world that moves fast and pulls us in many directions, we often long for something steady — an inner ground, a sense of clarity, a return to ourselves. This immersion is an invitation to pause, to listen, and to reconnect with what is essential.
Just as a seed grows into a tree by breaking open, rooting, and reaching towards the light, we, too, grow when we commit to our inner work.
What is sadhana?
Sadhana is that commitment: the personal, daily practice that supports us in cultivating awareness, resilience, and inner freedom.
During this week, we will explore what Sadhana truly is. We’ll reflect on what Sadhana can mean for you personally, and how it can support you in staying rooted amidst life’s challenges. You will learn how to create a personal practice that is nourishing, sustainable, and aligned with your life and values — a practice that becomes your foundation, your anchor, and your way of living.
Together, we will dive into yogic tools that help you:
• Build a daily routine that grounds and clarifies
• Stay connected to yourself amidst change and uncertainty
• Strengthen discipline while keeping the heart soft and open
• Bring yogic philosophy into real life
• Nurture a practice that supports who you are becoming
Sadhana is not about perfection, performance, or doing more.
It is about remembering who you are, honouring your truth, and taking care of your body, mind, and heart.
One day could look like this:
Mornings in silence
• Extended meditation, pranayama, and asana practice
• Nourishing breakfast
• Free time to rest, journal, integrate, or connect with nature
Afternoon
• Teachings on yogic philosophy & lifestyle
• Workshops & asana lab sessions to refine technique, alignment and awareness
Evening
• Wholesome Dinner
• Yoga Nidra, journaling, mantra, or reflective practices
This immersion is designed for dedicated practitioners who are curious, committed, and ready to evolve. It is for those who feel the call to deepen their yoga journey and expand their understanding around the ancient teachings.
If you are seeking grounding in a rapidly changing world, and a practice that continues to support and guide you long after the retreat ends, we would love to walk this part of the journey with you, supporting you with practices that meet you where you are. This week can be a profound step towards feeling more at home in yourself and in your yoga practice.
About your teachers:
Hannah
Hannah is a Hamburg-based yoga and mindfulness teacher and psychologist. She approaches yoga as a pathway to deeper connection — with oneself, with the world, and within the interplay of body and mind. Rooted in Hatha yoga and shaped by the Ashtanga Vinyasa and Ghosh lineages, as well as Buddhist contemplative practices, her teaching offers strong, clear, and grounding classes. Her classes invite you to discover stillness and steadiness amid life’s constant movement, weaving together philosophy and embodied practice.
Nina
Nina is a Lisbon-based yoga teacher devoted to building a bridge between the physical practice and the ancient spiritual teachings of yoga.
In a world that is fast living and overstimulating, Nina believes in the power of simplicity and repetition. These virtues serve as an anchor allowing us to internally slow down, listen and observe and notice the beauty all around us.
Rooted in the Ashtanga Vinyasa system as the foundation of her practice and teaching, Nina loves to “break the rules” and weaves in elements of different approaches such as Ghosh Yoga, Vinyasa, Rocket, Jivamukti and Katonah Yoga.
Her teaching aims to give students a container where they feel safe to shed the layers of their identity and move from the thinking mind into the feeling body.
You can expect a rigorous but accessible practice, blending Philosophy, Kriya, Mantra, Pranayama, Asana and Meditation, that aims to leave you more grounded, tender and confident in who you are (not).
