During Free Time
Upon your arrival in Guatemala City, a transport partner will be there to pick you up and take you to your accommodation in Antigua.
You will have the opportunity to explore the enchanting city of Antigua, where history and culture permeate its cobblestone streets nestled at the base of a volcano. Additionally, you will immerse yourself in a genuine experience at a jade workshop.
Ready to tackle the Pacaya Volcano hike? Picture yourself striding up a moderately challenging trail, venturing through sizzling lava fields and bubbling geothermal wonders. It's a top pick for those craving a middle-ground adventure with a volcanic twist, plus the bonus thrill of potentially watching Fuego Volcano put on a fiery show. Horses available for an additional cost.
Day 4: The adventure continues! Tour at Caoba and we will travel to the wonderful Lake Atitlan
Day 5-6: Travel with Alma, part of our essence is to connect in a real and sustainable way with projects of community or environmental good. In this experience you will have the opportunity to sow love and serve for two days in a social impact project.
Day 7: We'll set sail on our trusty boat, uncovering the whimsical wonders of Lake Atitlan's villages!
Travel north begins before dawn! Along the way, we’ll encounter delightful surprises and take a refreshing dip at our glamping lodge upon arrival. The next day promises an adventure to Semuc Champey, a natural monument located in the Alta Verapaz department of Guatemala, close to the Q'eqchi' Maya town of Lanquín. This stunning site features a 300-meter limestone bridge, beneath which flows the Cahabón River. Atop the bridge, you'll find a series of stepped, turquoise pools that are a favorite spot for swimming.
Day 10: We will proceed with our journey to one of Guatemala's most breathtaking regions and will be staying on the island of Flores. This land trip will occupy most of the day, but you will enjoy stunning views of Guatemala throughout the route.
Day 11: Tikal is a. ancient Mayan city located in the Petén Basin of northern Guatemala. It's one of the largest and most important archaeological sites of the pre-Columbian Maya civilization, and we will enjoy the day there with a guided tour!
Day 12: Free Day: Embrace the beauty of the lake, embark on a tour to explore additional ruins, or simply indulge in a massage while reflecting on the incredible adventure you’ve experienced!
We’ll return to Guatemala City by plane from Mundo Maya Airport in Flores, where we’ll wrap up the trip with a cozy group dinner to celebrate our experiences and the new friendships we've formed.
Our last night of accommodations is conveniently located near the International Airport in Guatemala City, allowing you to schedule your flight for any time today.
