About this trip

Journey deep into the spiritual and cultural wonders of Peru, its people, and the vibrant energy in the Sacred Valley.  This all inclusive trip starts in Cusco to acclimate and enjoy the highlights.  We'll spend quality time at our retreat center, Willka T’ika with daily yoga classes, healing treatments, star gazing, a fire ceremony, renowned sacred Chakra Gardens, explore nearby hikes beneath magnificent Andean peaks in awe-inspiring Sacred Valley scenery, and visit the major sites of the Sacred Valley.  We also will spend 2 days in Machu Picchu to explore. with our personal guide, learn the history and myths of this mountain top legend, and hike Huayna Picchu (optional).

With this fully-inclusive Retreat, enjoy the most luxurious accommodations at Wilka Tika, each with its unique garden or mountain view, gourmet vegetarian meals, and the perfect amount of time to pause within travels to absorb the healing energies of Peru and reflect on your inner journey. In Machu Picchu, we will stay at a 4 star hotel in Aguas Calientas, the town below Machu Picchu.

We will have a highly experienced private guide to accompany our group at all times, sharing awe-inspiring stories of the Inca and translating Quechua from Qero healers. This exclusive program is the perfect tour for a person that wants to see and experience it all, while tapping into authentic Andean spirituality.

Willka T’ika, is Peru’s premier luxury wellness retreat and boutique hotel and the original yoga center of the Sacred Valley — serene, sustainable and enchanting. Conveniently located between the ancient cities and temples of Cusco and Machu Picchu.

Staffed by 20 local Quechua farmers, Incan descendants who still practice ancient traditions

Voted as one of the top experiences during a stay at Willka T’ika, guests are welcome to experience the rejuvenating energies in each of the seven Chakra Gardens to explore and tap into personal healing power with Pachamama, Mother Nature. Each Chakra Garden focuses on one of the seven energy centers, from the base to the crown chakra, and offers a uniquely charged sacred space for group or personal work.

The Chakra Gardens 1,000+ year-old Lucuma tree, with its tremendous healing earth energy from a pre-Inkan era anchors the gardens and provides a place of revitalization and inspiration for guests in need of integrating their body, mind and spirit. Some believe Willka T’ika’s Lucuma tree is one of approximately 365 shrines located along Inkan Empire seques, the forty or so straight lines emanating from Cusco’s Korikancha Temple that run for hundreds of miles toward celestial points on the horizon.

Guests can align with the powerful Sacred Valley energies in the Spiral Garden of the third eye Chakra Garden. Walking the Spiral is an experience in releasing unwanted energies, and moving deeper into expanding consciousness. Opening the third eye chakra to intuition and higher reflection can open the personal path to greater awareness and wellness.

A million thanks to Suzanne with Flow Yoga Adventures for a magical week in Lake Atilan Guatemala. The retreat was perfectly curated offering the perfect blend of heath, wellness and safe adventure. My expectations were exceeded every possible way from the moment I made my deposite to the time I landed back in Denver. No detail was missed. Suzanne’s passion for travel, Yoga and people make her the perfect person to trust when planning your next adventure. I can’t wait to travel with Flow Yoga Adventures again and this is coming from someone that only does yoga periodically.

This was the experience of a lifetime! Such an amazing location, facility, and staff. Suzanne is absolutely excellent in facilitating her yoga retreats! The itinerary had a perfect balance of scheduled vs. unscheduled time to allow for unwinding/relaxation as well as focused activities/times. I appreciated the freedom to join in group activities or go off on solo exploring easily and without having to make a tough choice/choose between one or the other, there was ample opportunities for both. The daily yoga sessions were amazing, with varied times and styles that perfectly complimented the days activities. All ability levels were easily accommodated by Suzanne's lovely intuitive teaching style and I felt both challenged and capable in each class. I loved the options for adventure - like hiking & paddle boarding - and also the extensive spa/relaxation/healing therapies available on-site. Mind, body & soul were all well attended to :) The food was outstanding, above and beyond anything I imagined. Not being vegetarian I was a bit worried about being hungry...not to worry at all! The meals were so varied and plentiful and filling, I would easily be vegetarian at home if I could cook like that! And the option to add chicken or fish was always available. I couldn't get enough of the self-service tea/coffee bar, and the house kombucha! Villa Sumaya was impeccable in it's comfort, service, and carefully curated style and design. From the comfortable and clean room, to the amazing sitting areas and reading nooks, to the lakeside lounging decks and yoga areas, I loved every bit of the property. For it's listing as a 'modest' accommodation in a 3rd world country, I felt all my needs were perfectly met and cared for the entire time. I would return to Lake Atitlan & Villa Sumaya, especially with Flow Yoga, in a heartbeat! I feel so rejuvinated and refreshed upon return home, and will cherish the special moments, growth, and memories with the group of amazing people, in such an amazing place, for years to come. Thank you Suzanne/Flow Yoga & Villa Sumaya. Julia, SW Colorado

The most amazing, spiritual and healing retreat. Suzanne has a gift for running an organized, SAFE, enlightening, and best of all recharging and relaxing trip. Villa Sumaya is incredible. The staff was friendly and helpful and I felt safe there. The vegetarian food was healthy and delicious (I surprised myself as I didn't even miss animal protein). The property has little peaceful, beautiful pockets around every corner. The healers on property are magical. From yoga to Mayan ceremonies to hiking and paddle boarding adventures there is an activity for everyone. Simply sitting on the dock reading and taking in the wonder that is Lake Atitlan is enough to fill your heart. JUST GO! You won't regret it.

Suzanne is an amazing yoga instructor and adventure planner. She knows the perfect balance of planning activities and allowing time for you to explore on your own.
