On your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be met by our team who will transfer you to your hotel at Mkomazi National Park ( Mkomazi View Camp)

Mkomazi National Park is often overlooked compared to the well-known Ngorongoro and Serengeti National Parks. Yet, it is just as magnificent and brings you closer to the endangered Black Rhino and African Wild Dog. Late afternoon drive to Arusha for overnight

After breakfast at your hotel, our crew will pick you at 10: 00am to take you for a city tour of Arusha. We will visit the following places:

After breakfast you will start your safari with the packed lunch you will start with magnificent National Park-Tarangire National Park. This is Tanzania's fourth largest park offering diverse wildlife and scenery including giant baobab trees. It is home to the largest herds of elephants in East Africa!. These herds migrate along the wildlife corridor to nearby Lake Manyara National Park and Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Animal populations here rival those of the Serengeti so you will have a chance to see wildebeests, zebras, elands, hartebeests, buffalos, gerenuks, fringe eared Oryx, and flocks of birds of various species. After breakfast, we will drive to the Southwest end of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (with our packed lunch accompanied by a local guide) to the Hadzabe and Datoga communities which are the only remaining hunter-gatherer communities in East Africa. After breakfast at the hotel, with our packed lunch, we will drive to Ndutu North Ngorongoro via Olduvai Gorge(about 3 to 4 hours). Olduvai Gorge is an archaeological site located in the Northern plains of Ngorongoro Conservation Area where early human fossils were discovered ( Imagine yourself traveling to the cradle of mankind). After touring the site, we will have lunch and then drive to Ndutu Area to explore more in this World Heritage Site, Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The great migration reaches here with its over two million animals to give birth to their calves and thousands of animals are born daily between the end of December and the beginning of March. This also attracts many predators like lions, cheetahs and hyenas.

After breakfast, with packed lunch you will drive southward towards the Ngorongoro conservation area with wildlife viewing on the way. You will have your lunch at Naabi Hill (exit gate in Serengeti) as you sign-in to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After lunch, proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and while on the way you will stop to one of the MaasaiBomas in the Ngorongoro Area to learn, experience and enjoy Maasai culture, their traditional dancing and handcrafts. You will arrive in your hotel in the evening for rest, dinner and overnight. After early breakfast you will descend to the crater for early morning game drive inside the crater. This is the best place in Tanzania to see the black rhino as well as prides of lions that includes the magnificent, black-manned males. There are lots of colorful flamingoes and a variety of water birds. Other game that you can see includes leopards, hyena, other members of the antelope family, small mammals, hippos, and many more.

A safari with Lendimi is not complete without sharing the culture and the traditions of our tribes. On this day we will tour the village of Seela to meet with community members and participate in a tree-planting exercise. By planting a tree, you will be participating in restoring nature and leaving a life that will outlive your time in Tanzania.
