Kaskazi Horse Safari is the privately guided horseback operation in Northern Tanzania https://www.kaskazihorsesafaris.com/, we will have hot lunch and drive back to the Hotel for Dinner and overnight at Arusha.

After breakfast in your hotel, our crew will pick you by around 10:00AM and take you for a city tour in Arusha town. While in the tour, you will visit Maasai market where you will experience Maasai women doing bead work, men doing carvings, see pictures and a variety of Tanzanian fabric. You will also visit Arusha Central Market where you will learn about different Tanzanian food stuffs and spices. Also you will visit Tanzanite Experience Museum where you will get visual experience of underground tanzanite mining operations and view a wide range of displayed Tanzanite minerals. Lastly (depending on time and energy) we will visit Cultural Heritage Site (http://www.culturalheritage.co.tz/ ) where you will find the Biggest Art Gallery in Africa with collection of arts across the continent. Return to your hotel at Arusha for final preparations of your wildlife safari the next morning.  

After breakfast in your hotel (Arusha), you will be picked by our driver/guide at 08:00AM (with packed lunch) and depart for Tarangire National Park for game drive. Before leaving Arusha Town, you will have one stop for any last minute purchases before heading to Tarangire (130 KMs). The driving takes 1.5-2 hours to reach the park’s entrance gate. Tarangire is famous for its huge Baobab trees & large elephant population, you may expect to spot heads of buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, baboons, many antelopes & the giant African elephant. For bird watchers Tarangire is the place, over 400 bird species have been recorded in the park which includes the rare species of Ash Staling and rollers. Predators like lion, hyenas, cheetahs, jackals & the ever-mysterious leopard are also inhabiting this park. Tarangire Park forms the central annual migratory cycle within Tarangire-Lake Manyara ecosystem which include up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest and about 30,000 zebras. In the late afternoon drive to Farm of Dream Lodge (https://farmofdreamslodge.com/) for sunset watch, dinner & overnight.

After breakfast you drive to the Southwest, end of Ngorongoro Conservation Area (with packed lunch and accompanied by a local guide) to the Hadzabe and Datoga communities which are the only remaining hunter-gatherer communities in East Africa.

After the cultural tour we can visit the shores of Lake Eyasi for lunch and then drive back to Farm of Dreams Lodge in Karatu (https://farmofdreamslodge.com/) for dinner and overnight

After getting early breakfast at the hotel, with your packed lunch you drive to Serengeti NP via Olduvai Gorge (takes 3 to 4 hours). Olduvai Gorge is an archaeological site located in the northern plains of Ngorongoro Conservation Area, in which early human fossils were discovered. After learning from the site, you will have your lunch and then drive to Serengeti National Park. While on the way, you will have chances to view game before reaching the campsite/lodge in the evening. After breakfast, venture into the Serengeti’s wilderness corners for a full day of game viewing in the park. With a picnic lunch beside you, take your leisure while exploring this world heritage site, where earth’s largest concentration of plain game still roams freely. After breakfast, venture into the Serengeti’s wilderness corners for a full day of game viewing in the park. With a picnic lunch beside you, take your leisure while exploring this world heritage site, the endless plains of the Serengeti.

The great Wildebeest Immigration, elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo and rhino roam the spreading grasslands and lightly wooded areas, but giraffe, cheetah, jackal, wild dog and hyena as well as large and small herbivores, including dik diks, zebra, eland, gazelle, impala, kudu, hippo and many more are easy to spot.

After breakfast, with packed lunch you will drive southward towards the Ngorongoro conservation area with wildlife viewing on the way. You will have your lunch at Naabi Hill (exit gate in Serengeti) as you sign-in to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After lunch, proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and while on the way you will stop to one of the MaasaiBomas in the Ngorongoro Area to learn, experience and enjoy Maasai culture, their traditional dancing and handcrafts. After early breakfast you will descend to the crater for early morning game drive inside the crater. This is the best place in Tanzania to see black rhino as well as the pride of lions that include the magnificent black-manned males. There are lots of colorful flamingoes and a variety of water birds. Other game that you can see includes leopard, cheetah, hyena, other members of the antelope family, and small mammals. You will enjoy your lunch at a picnic site in the crater floor and proceed with afternoon game drive to Karatu Farm of Dream Lodge https://farmofdreamslodge.com/ for dinner & overnight.

After breakfast in your hotel, you will be picked by our drivers at 08:00AM (with packed lunch) and drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara National Park offers a wilderness experience in diverse habitats, from its Rift Valley soda lake to dense woodlands and steep mountainsides. Apart from a spectacular setting, the park is famous for its unusual tree-climbing lions, vast elephant herds, troops of several hundred olive baboons alongside Sykes monkeys and short-eared galago. Cape clawless otter, Egyptian goose, hippos and klipspringer are other park residents. The shores of the lake, encrusted with pink flamingo, attract more than 400 species of birds, many of them waterfowl or migrants. A Lake Manyara safari is a fascinating experience, as the park also features a ground-water forest, acacia tortilis woodland and hot springs called Maji Moto. You will enjoy your lunch in one of the picnic sites in the park. In the late afternoon drive to back to Arusha.

Around 8:00 am, our driver will pick you up from your hotel to drive to Seela Village here, you will meet community members, learn about the Varwa (Meru) culture, tour coffee and banana farms, taste our traditional food (and local beer) we will also trek the southern slopes/valleys of Mount Meru where you will mark this beautiful territory by planting trees to preserve the deteriorating water catchment areas. Tree planting is the Lendimi Project named BORESHA MERU in Swahili which means Preserve Meru environment the way of giving back to our society and the environment remember to wear your walking shoes. Drive back to Hotel in evening for overnight.
