You have veggie option for the food and they made sure the camp was ready and safe for us during the evening. Highly recommand to book Mayan Outdoors if you are thinking to 4X4 tour.

The careful, prudent nature of the guides impressed me. Mother Nature gave us blustery, low visibility conditions and the guides, in particular Adolfo, who stayed with slower members of the group, were graciously patient to ensure our group's safety.

Trip itself to see the Fuego Volcano and overnight at base camp provided excellent views of Fuego. I was disappointed as the large Acatenango Volcano is a 10 or 10 very difficult hike which was part of the tour that no one was able to summit. BUT for an extra 250Q the guides will take you to Fuego 7 of 10 difficulty which is really what everyone wanted to do. Why not make that the actual tour and make the more difficult sunrise of Acatenango summit the extra part? For $200USD the food was absolutely terrible. Lunch was nothing but a local cold chicken sub, that's it! No drink, no snack, no chips, no desert. Dinner was meh, average spaghetti with either hot chocolate or coffee. Breakfast was poor! 2 pancakes with honey and a hot chocolate which was delish, that,s it. For the money paid felt there wasn't enough value. Tour guides and drivers were fine. Multiple headlamps ran out of power (mine was one of them) making the hike treacherous.

Amazing guides very attentive to everyone in the group. The food and the accommodation were great. I highly recommend this operator!
