Fantastic experience. Our guide was very helpful to assist our old group. Skies cleared and had great views of Fuego explosions. Thank you. If one suggestion, put a foam met down on the cabin floor. It’s hard on old joints!

We had a great time, even though there was heavy rain — thanks to our luck and to Daniel and the team, who made everything amazing! It wasn’t just a volcano experience but also an off-road adventure, thanks to their excellent driving. I’d definitely recommend everyone to put this on their bucket list.

Mayan outdoors was used as a means of transportation after hiking Acatenango . The driver was friendly and very accommodating to the group’s needs when needing to make a stop. I have no doubt that their services all around are impeccable.

We had a great time on this excursion! The wonders of nature never cease to amaze! Fortunately Fuego has been very active lately and we saw some spectacular eruptions! The accommodation and food is pretty basic. However you can supplement it with your own supplies, it’s only a hour walk into the camp. If you don’t have warm clothes, take advantage of the clothes they have at the office for your comfort because it is cold on the mountain. Walter was a great guide especially on the sunrise tour. Very patient with the slow old guy! The extra tour to the spot to view Fuego looked and sounded arduous but also very rewarding! The sunset tour was easier and did offer good views of Fuego. Overall a great experience and all the staff were friendly!
