Spend a focused, welcoming 2 weeks learning Spanish in Nosara, Costa Rica. This program is designed for adults at every level, from A1 to C2, and combines practical communication with the relaxed rhythm of Playa Guiones in the Nicoya Peninsula Blue Zone. You’ll learn in a supportive small-group setting and use Spanish in real situations from the moment you arrive.

WHAT 20 HOURS MEANS

Your program includes 20 hours of small-group Spanish instruction from Monday through Friday. We place you by level using a placement test and a short oral assessment on the first Monday, so your lessons are relevant and comfortable.

The 20-hour program is most often scheduled from 8:00–11:40 a.m. or 1:00–4:40 p.m. This still leaves plenty of time for surfing, yoga, remote work, or exploring Nosara.

**Please note that we are not able guarantee specific time slots for group classes but we'll do our best to match your preference.

HOMESTAY WITH A LOCAL FAMILY

Dive into Costa Rican culture by living with a welcoming local host family. A great choice for students who want a more immersive cultural experience and additional opportunities to experience Spanish in everyday life. Price is per person. Bookings are Sunday - Sunday. Daily breakfast and dinner are included.

BUILD YOUR WEEK

Between classes, explore Nosara’s beaches, wellness, wildlife and local life at your own pace. Add a surf or yoga experience to your reservation, or simply enjoy time to practice Spanish around town.

Living with a local family is an amazing experience, both culturally and linguistically.  Students are offered a private bedroom and daily breakfast and dinner.  If you want to take your Spanish to the next level then our 2 week Spanish + Homestay Program is an excellent choice.

8am-1140am:  Spanish Classes

11:40-6pm:  Free time.  Students most often surf, yoga, go to lunch, beach, shop, etc

6/7pm:  Dinner with your local family
