In March 2024, I graduated from the 200hrs YTT with the School of Yoga. The YTT consisted of a few online practices and lectures with Joan, in preparation of and before a two-week full-time yoga retreat in Rajasthan, India. Overall, it was an enriching and transformative experience: thanks to this YTT, I re-discovered Yoga, and I felt in love for it and for life. I grew as a yogi and as a person. The 200-hrs YTT — with all its components — gives the fundamental knowledge on Yoga practice and philosophy. It is well balanced between practice and theory/lecture. Intellectually, the YTT is interesting and fascinating. And it is fun! Joan is a knowledgeable and inspiring teacher. She is passionate and dedicated to teaching. Undoubtedly, Joan also has a talent for transferring knowledge: Her explanations are clear and make sense, her talks are capturing and transformative.. The 2-week retreat in India is enriching also for the life and human experience. Accommodation (site, staff and food) is impeccable. I naturally (with no difficulty) merged with the life-style at the retreat. We shared amazing time together with the participants: We were all present. Truthful and loving. Open and curious. I grew as a person. I learned to better listen to and being truthful to myself. Today, I am using all these learnings in my daily life at home….

We had a very nice time. Food was good, rooms were comfortable. The center was by the beach which felt good. TT was intense and very interesting. Joan brought some gong bath and kirtan experience. I guess we all peeled off some layers and came back changed.
