Asana labs consist of breaking down the postures, sequencing, proper alignment and theory, anatomy workshops, practice teaching, and adjusting. This was my third time I traveled to Cahuita for the yoga retreat. That speaks volumes in itself. Stacy is an amazing yoga teacher, combining foundations with yogi/life affirming teachings. The property and accommodations are magical. Sloths, monkeys, and iguanas all join us for yoga. I will most likely return next year for a fourth time!

This experience was truly magical. I did a 7-days yoga retreat and I loved it. It was my first retreat and Stacy created such a beautiful and inspiring atmosphere. Besides that, doing this in the middle of the jungle and surrounded by wild life is such a nice extra. Totally recommended!

We just returned from a yoga retreat that truly exceeded all our expectations. The Stacey was incredible—her knowledge and experience were evident from the very first class. She had this special ability to break down each posture in a way that was so clear and accessible. She didn’t just tell us how to do it; she explained the purpose behind every movement, helping us understand what we were trying to achieve. Whether we were beginners or more advanced, she made sure everyone got the same benefits. I’m not exactly a seasoned yogi, but felt like I was getting results right alongside the more experienced participants and have gained a huge amount of confidence from this knowledge and experience. What really made this retreat feel extra special was the couple running it (i.e Stacey and Mark). They are so deeply woven into the local community, and it showed in every detail. All the excursions were locally sourced and led by local guides, which made the whole experience feel authentic. It was clear that we weren’t just visitors—we were guests, part of something bigger. The location for yoga couldn’t have been more perfect—peaceful, beautiful, and serene. And the food? Honestly, it was the delicious! Fresh, vibrant, and made with love. We both agreed that we wished we could’ve stayed for two weeks instead of just one. It was that good. If you’re looking for a retreat that feels personal, special and you actually want to learn, this is it. We'll definitely consider returning. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed this trip so much! Stacey and Marc were great hosts. The villa was beautiful and very comfortable. We enjoyed the morning yoga sessions and the evening somatics and restorative. We also enjoyed the excursions, especially the Cahuita National Park and the Bri Bri tour and waterfall. The animals around the villa were awesome--they had a resident sloth and we got to see an exciting sloth rescue. There were iguanas in the trees and howler monkeys in the distance. It was about a half mile to the beach and I enjoyed a beach walk about every day. My daughter and granddaughter rate it 10/10, a "perfect little slice of paradise" and an "amazing and very welcoming and friendly place to stay".

200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Cahuita, Costa Rica, Dec 2024 I had an incredible experience attending the 200-hour yoga teacher training in Cahuita, Costa Rica. The program was absolutely amazing—comprehensive, engaging, and thoughtfully designed. I couldn’t have asked for a better setting than Firefly, a stunning house surrounded by nature. The location is spectacular, with lush gardens, a fabulous pool, and tranquil terraces with hammocks where you can relax. Waking up to the soothing sounds of howler monkeys and a variety of birds made each day feel magical. The organizers—Stacey, Marc, and the class assistant, Laura—were absolutely wonderful. They went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction, adjusting the schedule multiple times to tailor the experience to our needs. Their attention to detail and genuine care created a welcoming and nurturing environment. The balanced and delicious meals prepared by Emma were a highlight, full of flavor and nutrition, keeping us energized throughout the training. The rest of the Firefly team also did an outstanding job. Ashley and Angel took great care of the property, ensuring everything was spotless and running smoothly. On top of all this, the program included fantastic excursions, allowing us to explore and connect with the beauty of the surrounding area. This training has deeply contributed to my personal and professional growth and has strengthened my passion for yoga. I wholeheartedly recommend this program to anyone looking for an exceptional yoga teacher training experience. 100% satisfaction guaranteed!

The hosts Stacy and Mark are incredible, warm people who really made a difference in my time there. They supported us and made the whole experience feel safe and comfortable. The place itself was amazing. Located right in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by wildlife, it was absolutely beautiful. I could even spot animals right from my yoga mat! The environment was perfect for focusing, relaxing, and growing. Stacy was incredibly professional and an outstanding yoga teacher. She helped me build confidence in both my personal practice and my ability to teach. Her deep knowledge of yoga philosophy, anatomy, and the practice itself allowed me to feel secure and supported as I learned. Stacy’s guidance was always clear, insightful, and inspiring, which made me feel truly comfortable and confident in my role as an upcoming teacher. This is an experience I will always remember, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a transformative yoga journey. I can’t say enough good things about it!
