I am just back from a 200hr YTT with Sacred Journeys Yoga and Stacy Sinclair in Costa Rica. This was the most amazing 18 days I have ever experienced. I highly recommend this teacher training. It absolutely exceeded my expectations in all ways. Firstly Stacey is such a great teacher and mentor. Her style of teaching is very detailed yet exactly what you need to learn AND understand the how and why of what you are doing. There was so much content over the course of the training yet everything was relevant and usable for the real world afterwards. There is plenty of anatomy and physiology brought into the classes and practices which really helps to illustrate how the body works in the various asanas. Our yoga philosophy classes were so informative and Stacys passion shines through as she explains and opens the conversation to all students making learning very interactive. The property where the training takes place is Cash Firefly which is a little piece of heaven on earth. It is surrounded by nature and you daily see sloths and monkeys and other beautiful exotic animals. The property is very well looked after and clean and you certainly feel a home from home vibe. It really is boutique retreating. The Food we had from Emma the chef was superb. Everything was vegetarian, gluten and dairy free yet filling and really delicious. We all looked forward to every meal to see what delights she would serve us. By the end of the training I was amazed at how much I had learned and how confident I felt about teaching my own classes afterwards. I highly recommend this training and Stacy. It is absolutely the trip of a lifetime in so many ways and not to be missed.

My husband and I just got back from a 200 HR YTT with Stacey in Cahuita, Costa Rica and the experience was absolutely incredible! Having done a ton of research before choosing Stacey's program, I can honestly say that it completely exceeded my expectations. Casa Firefly is stunning! The grounds, plants/flowers, wildlife (monkeys, sloths, iguanas) and accommodations were all perfect. From the moment you walk on to the property you can tell how much love Stacey and her husband Marc have put into making Casa Firefly a truly beautiful and relaxing place. The brand new yoga shala was such a comfortable and gorgeous place to practice yoga in every day. Casa Firefly is located a short 3-5 minute walk to the beach. My husband was able to rent a surfboard while we were there and enjoy daily surfing. Emma, the chef, prepared incredibly delicious and nourishing food for us. Not only was her food incredible but she is also such a lovely person and was a pleasure to get to know during our stay. Learning from Stacey was a wonderful experience. While our days were full and filled with both didactic and practical learning, the pace and information presented never felt overwhelming. This allowed for a perfect mix of intensity and relaxation. I am coming away from this experience with such deep knowledge of the history, philosophy and practice of yoga. If you are looking for a balanced, educational, truly unique and unforgettable experience, look no further than Stacey and Sacred Journeys Yoga!

This was an amazing experience. Casa firefly and the grounds are beautiful, clean and well kept. It was a very comfortable stay with a/c and warm water. Stacy and her husband were amazing hosts. The chef, Emma, prepared delicious meals that kept me full and energized through the day and night! The yoga instruction was very well thought out and informative. I learned a lot and gained more confidence in my practice. We did so many incredible things- I had the best time and would highly recommend this retreat. It was a safe, welcoming environment and Stacy took very good care of all of us. She made us feel at home and comfortable to say what we needed or wanted. She was flexible and joined us for added excursions. You MUST book this retreat. I felt safe and loved the Caribbean side of Costa Rica. I hope to go back and participate again soon!
