First we'll make our way to the world's oldest and largest museum of mass transit vehicles, the Seashore Trolley Museum. While the main focus of the collection is trolley cars, it also includes rapid transit trains, Interurban cars, trolley buses, and motor buses.

Next we'll head to the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad & Museum in Portland, for a charter, photo runby, and special access to the region's signature two-foot gauge railroad equipment. A free evening means you can explore this charming city on your own terms tonight.

We spend the day with the Winnipesaukee Scenic, first for their Fall Foliage Special featuring a hot buffet luncheon at the Common Man Inn, and a tour of the restored 1869 Ashland Railroad station. 

Upon our return, spend time exploring the rail yard or relaxing in our private rail cars before gathering some new mileage with an excursion along the western shores of 

Lake Winnipesaukee. 

In the early evening we'll enjoy the famous Turkey Dinner Train which journeys around the lake. We then journey northward to Lincoln for a two-night stay at the Indian Head Resort.

We start the day on the world's first cog railway. We'll travel by bus to the base of Mt. Washington, the highest peak in NH, at 6,288 feet. Upon arrival we'll be treated to tour of the shop. After, we will board the cog for the ride up behind steam.

Following our descent, we return to Lincoln for a special evening aboard the Cafe Lafayette Dinner Train. Enjoy a 4-course, seasonally-inspired, gourmet meal as we take in the views from 1950's restored vintage rail cars. 

Today's agenda includes all things Conway Scenic. Author Brian Solomon and the team at Conway are preparing a full day of activities, including a ride through the spectacular Crawford Notch.

We begin our day with a trip to the famous Wiscasset, Waterville & Farmington Railway, a re-creation of a rural 2-foot gauge line that operated from 1894 to 1933 and revived starting in 1989. Special photo-ops and a shop tour round out our chartered visit.

Next, we'll travel back in time at Boothbay Railway Village where over 30 acres are dedicated to the restoration and preservation of Maine railroad history. Explore the village, catch a ride on a two-footer and chat with the mechanics on a shop tour, , enjoy the model railroad village.

We'll begin the day with an optional morning ferry ride through Camden Harbor to the Curtis Island Lighthouse.

Next we will head to the Belfast & Moosehead Railway for our final train ride of the tour.

In the afternoon we will make our way back to Portland where we will have our final hotel stay and farewell dinner.

Breakfast will be served at the hotels and shuttles will be provided to the Portland Airport and the Portland Transportation Center railway station.
