I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Upstate Retreat last month (Feb 2024). Ally, Vanessa and the entire NUSHU team took tremendous care of us all, allowing me to really relax into the experience of being there — disconnected from the outside world yet more connected to my inner world than ever before. It was a dream come true and I’ll be back for more!

Attending the NUSHU retreat was healing in many ways; from the moment I arrived, I knew I was in for a treat! The retreat offered a perfect blend of relaxation, self-discovery, and connection with remarkable women. The blend of self-discovery and laughter was just what my spirit needed. Who knew learning to crochet could be so much fun? Vanessa and Ally were exceptional; they created a beautiful container that helped us all feel seen and heard. their guidance, wisdom, and nurturing presence created a safe space for healing and growth. The energy of the group was heartwarming. Sharing stories, laughter, and support with other women created a sense of uplifting and empowering sisterhood. Seeing how we all came together to uplift and inspire one another was amazing. The retreat was a transformative experience that left me feeling refreshed, inspired, and deeply connected.

Between the programming, accommodations, food, activities, and more - not one detail was left untouched. It was clear from the very first gathering that so much thought and considerstion was put into every aspect of the retreat. The Nushu Team & Ally went above and beyond to create and hold space for everyone in so many ways - I can't thank them enough. It's truly powerful what can happen when we all get together to hold space for one another - especially in a room full of incredible women brought together by Nushu & Ally. I'm so grateful to the entire team and every single person I was so very lucky to meet on the retreat. Already looking forward to the next Nushu gathering.

I am sitting with a massive smile a gratitude as I write this review. I have never been on a trip that made me feel so filled up and proud of myself. Everyone was so encouraging, supportive and the atmosphere that was created by NUSHU was absolutely magical and unique. The accommodations were great and the food was so fresh, healthy and every meal ended in a conversation begging for for the recipes. The surf instructors pushed me out of the comfort zone while making me feel so secure...my wins were their wins and the wisdoms they whispered will be with me for a lifetime. NUSHU made all the travel seamless and there were fun surprises everyday. As always, the most important aspect is how you feel.... and looking back now, I can tell you I feel amazing; I made lifetime friends and I will not hesitate to travel with NUSHU again.
