Fun waves, great people, very comfortable space. Easy communication with the staff, Tanya in particular is an amazing house manager and made the whole stay even more special. Really great experience all around.

I stayed at Algae Surf Camp for 2,5 weeks in Jan 26 as a solo traveler and booked the surf package. The place is amazing! Super nice and friendly staff, extremely clean and pretty calm because it is not on the main road. I stayed in two different rooms: Tamarindo and Coco and especially Coco was super nice. The breakfast gets served by the amazing team every morning with a smile. Tanja, who manages "La Maison" is a very welcoming person who bakes fantastic cakes and gives you a warm welcome from day one. Axel is a passionate surfer, who is always open to give you some advice around the surf. The surf classes are organized by Pilars surf school with experienced instructors. I went mostly with Marxell and can highly recommend him for his calm attitude and fokus. The surf spot in Mancora is 5 min walk away from the hotel and very consistent. There are lots of options for food and shopping around as well. If you have the chance and want to feel at home, go for Algae Surf Camp. See u next time, Nadine
