Many guests simply want a serious training experience. They prefer structured physical conditioning, outdoor activity, and accountability rather than relaxation programming.

The retreat is ideal for individuals who:

• prefer structured workouts over leisure activities
• want to build strength, endurance, and resilience
• value privacy and a focused environment

You do not need to be preparing for military service to participate. Civilians seeking a results-oriented fitness experience are welcome.

Outdoor Training Focus

Most training takes place outdoors in the desert climate of Southern Nevada where blue skies are common year-round.

Outdoor training areas include:

• a 5,000-square-foot sports court
• a quarter-mile paved training loop
• nearby cycling and walking routes
• strength and conditioning circuits in open air

Outdoor conditioning allows participants to build endurance, strength, and mental resilience while enjoying the scenic desert environment.

The goal is practical fitness that can be maintained anywhere without reliance on specialized gym equipment.

Not a Spa Retreat

This retreat is not designed as a relaxation spa experience.

Instead, the program emphasizes:

• structured daily activity
• outdoor conditioning
• strength and endurance development
• habit building through accountability

Guests who enjoy physical challenge, outdoor movement, and disciplined training environments tend to thrive here.

A Focused Training Environment

Because the retreat takes place in a private residence with only a small number of guests, the environment remains quiet and distraction-free.

Participants can focus entirely on improving their physical conditioning and developing sustainable fitness habits.

The small group setting allows training to be adapted to each individual’s current capability while still maintaining a structured training atmosphere.

Retreat Meals

 Meals and nutrition coaching at the fitness residence are protein-centric focusing on promoting fat loss and sparing metabolic-boosting muscle. Please do not confuse this with traditional calorie counting. Balancing macronutrients,  namely protein, fats, and carbohydrates is effective for general needs and requirements. You will learn to recognize foods as lean proteins, complex carbohydrates, and healthy fats. See a sample menu.
Professional dietitians are not on staff and we do not intend to replace the recommendations of your physician should you have specific issues. Furthermore, this is not an eating disorder, alcohol, or drug treatment center. If you are looking for a place where your food is prepared for you by others, this program is not for you. The number one reason why those types of programs result in client weight gain afterward is because they do not empower you with hands-on food management. Coaching begins with a trip to the grocery store. 

Cancellation Policy, Trip Insurance

 Small business no-refund policies explain why you need travel insurance. 

Why not ask for a refund if something causes you to leave early?

Again, a small business relies on solid client commitments to keep operating costs affordable. So remember to insure your stay with destination travel insurance! 
Who needs travel insurance at a fitness retreat?  Think again before you waive travel insurance. Please don’t expect a small business operator to negotiate a refund if you book and decide to cancel. Likewise, don’t try to negotiate a rebate if you depart early.  The business operator takes your booking seriously. Should you cancel, there isn’t a waiting list of other prospects to take your place because your room is no longer available.  So, please understand that insurance is a wise investment when booking a retreat. 

Destination Travel Insurance

Destination travel needs travel insurance coverage for the trip and destination. 


Protect your investment. Unforeseen events may happen, and there are no guarantees.  When traveling to a retreat, your trip and your stay are investments. Think twice before waiving travel insurance. It is a small investment to protect the bigger ones. 

Wise travelers use destination travel insurance and recommend it to others.  

Retreat clients must insure and protect their investments, so we will remind you when booking. Retreat business policies prohibit last-minute cancellations and early departure refunds. Therefore, your best option to protect your investment is travel insurance.

Prospective guests must contact Debra Stefan prior to confirming a reservation due to limited availability at the private residential fitness retreat. Program suitability, expectations, and preferred arrival dates are discussed in advance.

What's included

Airport Transfer Driver

Two-way ground transportation to/from Harry Reid Airport (LAS) is included, provided by Debra or her private driver. The retreat is located in a private, guard-gated community with 24-hour security.

Fitness assessment

Baselines are set to work toward progress. Focus not on what you can't do, but determine your best way to begin.

Photos and Measurements

"Before" photos and girth measurements will establish a baseline to track progress.
