Spend the day discovering the natural beauty of Cajas National Park, just outside Cuenca. Arrival in Galápagos and begin your day in the lush highlands of Santa Cruz, where you’ll encounter the famous giant tortoises in their natural habitat at a local ranch. Stroll through scenic lava tunnels, delve into the islands' geology, and capture amazing photos before transferring to the charming coastal town of Puerto Ayora to catch our ferry to Isabela and settle into your accommodation.

Depending on availability, enjoy a day trip to Santa Fe or Pinzon Island. Snorkel with diverse marine life such as sharks, sea lions, stingrays, and turtles. Look out for blue-footed boobies along the shores. Your guide will explain the island's ecosystem and unique adaptations.

Visit the Charles Darwin Research Station, where guides will provide insights into the renowned giant tortoises. After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant, head to Tortuga Bay. Here, you can relax on the white sandy beach and admire the vibrant blue water, while observing marine iguanas, pelicans, and flamingos. Swimming is also an option. To reach Tortuga Bay, take a scenic 2.5 km (35-45 minute) walk along a paved path from Puerto Ayora. Alternatively, you can return to Puerto Ayora by boat for an additional cost.
