I did the 4 day shortened trek on the Salkantay route. And guides (Henry and then Nildo) were nothing short of INCREDIBLE - my heroes! All of the other staff (cooks, porters, office, dome caretakers) were fantastic as well. Food was delicious; it’s really amazing what they can do considering they have to carry all ingredients and fuel up into the mountains. In particular, the guides were kind, patient, super experienced, and really went above and beyond to support the group, especially when I was struggling with the hiking due to altitude. They always encouraged me. My only bit of feedback is that some of the pre-trip communication from the company ended up changing without notice or lacked detail; there was not a major impact for me personally but I would recommend asking lots of detailed questions in advance if you’re someone who really wants to know what to expect in every aspect.

Excellent, this trip is super for experienced hikers! Our guide Elisban "Puma" was great. He got us (I am 52 and my daughter is 14) with coca tea and other pratical help over the 4,200m and 4,000m passes :-) A big thank you also to the porters who are the real heroes of the inka trail. So this tour is highly recommended and is from our point of view better than the 4 day tour. Thank you again for this unforgettable experience, Nikolas & Theresa

Fernando was an incredible guide - perfect mix of informative and hilarious. Nico catered to our vegan diet with authentic Peruvian cuisine. Awesome trip, just the 2 of us and the guide!

First of all the Trek was really nice, we had a good time and good food for the activities! But we had a problem with visiting machu picchu. As you cant read anywhere on the homepage of quechua that there are 4 areas for visiting we thought that we are going to the THE viewpoint. But after all of the walking days we could only see it from the other, lower side. It wasn´t what we expected we booked. Furthermore everywhere you can read you must book your ticket to Machu Picchu very early. We booked the trip like 10 weeks before going, but the organisation booked our entrance tickets only two weeks before the visit. So everyone can imagine that there are only tickets for the last category left....
